be careful. the game has more bugs than the natural history museum.
i installed it on a:
windows vista
2gb ram
320gb hard disk
nvidia geforce 7100
machine that was perfectly capable of running the game and had nothing but errors throughout the installation and gameplay.
its a very good game, but i wouldnt gaurantee it works with every machine. also, i noticed that every half our or so, i get a black screen and the computer returns to windows. thats really annoying.
On Windows Vista it does not work that well,, I run it now on

Some king of 512 MB AMD graphic card
2.8 GH Dual Core
Windows 7
For me the game runs perfectly. I also play it for long, so I know how to play. Although it is annoying in the game that the lower class people disappear, after a while.

MUCH better than societies!! you can build MEGAcities and the graphic is very good, too!
