  • That motor sounds good.

  • @Timbo19686 it comes out at an angle to the right. But yeah, doenst sound like fun!

  • the piston thjing u said i wonder what the hospital would say if u walkwed in with a piston jammed in ur nuts

  • I love stuff like this. watching rebuilds on dirt bikes mowers and carts. Your Crafting skillz are Beast man. thanks for the Uploads my friend

  • @TyeDye07 thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

  • @Fearlessfront how long is the frame because i am about to build one but i dont really know the measurments and how wide is it and a how long is the front end. thanks. please reply back

  • gpd genital protection device

  • @bobhadababitsaboy lol! yup! gotta protect whats important!

  • I watched the video how to but as again I'm young my moms dad own a welding machine but idk if he'll let me use it lol and im pulling the engine and might put a 18hp twin II engine on it

  • @Fearlessfront , what day of the week do you usually do Ur update videos, that mower your building is badass how much did you pay for it to start with ?

  • @sprintcardriver8 usually monday or tuesday. I paid 200 for it, but took all the parts off it and built another kart and sold that for 100

  • I'm gettin my frame today oh yeah time to get to work o I'm gonna lock my trans

  • @Smilly0467 Nice! Go Locked, or GO HOME!

  • Catastrophic failures happen only if a VERY HIGH revving engine is not freshened up often/soon enough.

Rod is yanked apart by the spinning crank shaft because the piston came apart & jams in the cylinder. And the rod knocks a hole in the block.

I seriously doubt this engine will grenade on your nuts.

Speed at high rpms is a bigger risk. I don’t see you living long at 90 mph, even once. Twice, forget it.

20 minutes of high rpm=requires new piston. Just go for torque & awesome wheel spins.

  • @Tankdriver100 the plan is to get this thing turning about 7000rpm, If it decides to granade itself, I don't want to be the one to catch the piston... It's also a liabilty thing, I won't be the only person to ride it, so I don't want someone else to over-rev it and get hurt. The guys that build mini bikes build scatter shields all the time. seems like a good idea

  • @Fearlessfront I knew it. Speed junkie. RPM's that high will launch you over 70mph. Requires 1st rate protective gear there bud.

Too pull 7000 RPM's best use methanol and a big aftermarket carb & a high lift cam.

Try that on "Cam 2" gas and you burn a hole in the piston.

  • @Tankdriver100 oh, it's getting the works! flat top piston, rod, flywheel, new cam, valvetrain, carb, filter, porting, the list goes on and on and on.....

it's geared to go about 55-60mph at 7k rpm

  • @Fearlessfront 2.5 to 1 ratio? 5500 rpm will get 55-60mph..

  • mass testicular distruction XD

  • I'll get the smallest trans u can find.. Is that better

  • Ok I will be careful um gonna add a seatbelt;)lol o and ok I'm looking for a 22hp engine and gonna remove the governor and I'm gonna buy a good tranny

  • Cool o and why do I do if my lawnmowers pullys are already moved we bought it brand new and the small pulley was already in the back and the big on in. The front so what would I do or is the pulley swap different like put the big one on the back?

  • @Smilly0467 if you want to go faster, go bigger on the motor, or smaller on the trans... or both!

  • on my way home today i found a free push lawn mower on the side of the road and picked it up. so when i got home i looked and the oil was fine the gas was relltivy new so i primed it and it pufed. then i got the gas and pored it down the carb. then tried to start it and i flooded it. so i turned the gas off and puled till it started to fire turned the gas back on and it started right up and ran pretty good but the throtel when moved back and forth it dosent do any thing but it was free

  • @TheLukeduke90 cool, free is a good price!

  • when is the next update man!!!!

  • @Fearlessfront I just found a lawnmower frame with everything on it except a engine so I'm gonna try to find a 17 hp lawnmower engine made by riggs&stratton and remove the governor and make it super fast;) I'm gonna have me some dangerous fun lol

  • @Smilly0467 haha! be careful! Live to ride another day!

  • Very good, look forward to more, much more fun from Germany

  • @fearlessfront what can i do to the govener?

  • hey am i better off not pulley swaping my tractor because i will loose my power

  • @TheMrfootball4 if you have over 10 hp, you have waay more than enough power! Go for it!

  • Comment removed

  • @Fearlessfront i have an 8 hp tractor so is it still worth and how much do the pulleys cost

  • You can easily build that Honda clone to put out triple its horsepower safefully you just have to have the money to do it, I built my ohv briggs 6.5 and it puts out 18hp and its perfectly safe no problems at all

  • @sprintcardriver8 Good! because I plan too! I just hope the tav2 holds up!

  • when is the next update going to be put up???

  • 14 OR 15 HORSE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M PRETTY SURE THERE IS NOT A RELIABLE OR SAFE WAY TO MAKE THAT ENGINE GO OVER DOUBLE ITS STOCK HORSEPOWER!!!!!!

  • for doing stuff like that on the brakes you should get a carpenters triangle square thing (oh hell I dont know the correct name)!

  • I actually was going to suggest a gaurd for your nuts. but you thought of it first!

LOL you dont wanna get a nutcracker while riding that thing!!!!!!

  • great build man , i love it you do some sick work just wondering what color your going to paint the frame?

  • @gda882002 The frame will probably be black

  • motor needs a e3 plug and 50cc bike carb with a uni filter.

  • @fearlessfront o u should put a push button start and a a flip kill switch and a gas meter Thingy mag bob lol

  • Thank u dude I have actually fixed my seat I am building a frame and gonna buy a 17hp engin for it and I have a steering wheel so thanks

  • xbox 360? and whats your gamertag bro i will add u if u r playing online

  • maybe for a paintjob you should get some costom airbrushed flames or somthing

  • @ anyone who would like to help me

I'm 12 years old and I have worked on countless of engines with my father but since that my fathers gone:( I was wondering if u had any tips for me on how to start my build on a racing mower completed freon scratch except I'm using a lawnmower frame any tips on how I could build. It right and sag

  • @Smilly0467 well, there are lots of build videos on youtube, just look around. I have pretty much built this from scratch, theres not much to it, it just takes time.

Every step of this build is on here, from the day I got it to where you see it now.

  • Self drilling sheet metal screws with a hex head...much easier than pre-drilling holes, and then fighting a flathead screw...I even picked up a second magnetic nut driver bit that I keep in the box with the screws so I don't have to dig the right size out every time. Also, I use both cut-off wheels and grinding wheels, and got tired of switching out the wheels....so my good DeWalt grinder gets the cut-off wheel, and I picked up a cheap $14.99 grinder from Harbor Freight for the grinding wheels!

  • @tbrowning7 thats a good idea for the grinder, I may have to try that, I hate switching back and fourth all the time.

And I drilled and tapped the holes, then bolted them in. I hat flathead screws, I will most likley switch them out for someting better... (button head)

  • with that much steel you should have a bigger engine, how much does the frame weigh?

  • @Thijs18588 The frame weighs about 50lbs, and it will have a tav2 on it, along with a build honda clone. It should move along fairly well

  • Comment removed

  • @Fearlessfront ok thats pretty light! succes whit the rest of you built on the racing lawnmower! (maybe my english sounds a bit crappy cause i'm dutch)

  • I'm confused on weather the girl Fearless lives with is his, Wife, or his Girlfriend. Anybody wanna help me out ?

  • @bubbawinchester nope, thats his business. just enjoy the mower vids bro.

  • @bubbawinchester haha! I'm married, and have 2 kids

  • @Fearlessfront Ever thought about maybe putting some family in some videos haha that would be cool

  • just dont fall forward now.... lol you really like your diamond plate/mesh...and testicular destruction XD

Great job on the beast, engine sounds WICKED with that header! I revved up my 6hp briggs with 2" of manifold and was literally deaf for 10 minutes afterwards. Good times.

  • @SuperKONR Do it at night! I bet it was breathing fire as well!

  • hey fearless dose your murry have a dash pto engage thing

  • @fadely98 no, it was a lever on the side of the dash.

  • you should pot rivet the dashboard on it would look really mad

  • Nice job!

  • instead of painting it u should get it powder coated, its a lot more durable!

  • @deepracer112 I'd love to, but I'd have to get it re-done if I ever changed anything on the frame

  • are you going to paint it?

  • @85projectcar eventually, yes! lol

  • things sick lookin, il get a vid of my raceing mower. its an old Homelite (blue sticker) rm7e. i worked the shit out of the motor but i need some brakes for it and what not still so but yea.

  • since i havent slept and cant find my post im going to reply here theses a reason they are rare they looked that bad ppl burnt them then ran over them to make sure they dident come back like the baddy in a sceary movie ilmao

  • Hope you get to be feeling better. Now i want to see some paint on it!

  • @msteele323 me, too. And I need to test drive it b4 paint

  • @Fearlessfront The motor sounds great though. ever since you started this build it has made me want to resurrect the Famous MURRAT, Yes i am in the process of looking for another Murray like i had.

  • 2 inches thats pretty close to the sack buddie

  • @TheBlaster814 lol, I think I have to reroute it now anyway...

  • you might want to try and use a toggle swich and push button for start and shutoff. also is the motor the type from harbord fright?

  • @TheLukeduke90 Harbor freight? yeah I think so. they're really cheap.

I got this one from another youtube user.

  • you will have to watch out for the plastic choke lever on these clone motors and honda gx motors in general: if the air box/ air cleaner isn't bolted to the throttle control plate, the plastic lever can just lift off. but you can still easily control the choke by grabbing the plastic nub on the carb

  • @jack9102 I'm changing over to a totally different carb. so it shouldnt be a problem.

  • @ fearlessfront thinking about it

  • The engine guard is a good idea, but i would have it round instead of welded on a 90. That way you don't bust your ball's if you happen to crash.

  • @blankcreations If I crash this thing, I;m probably dead anyway! lol... but Yeah, I can always rebuild it, the mounts are there so I may do that someday.

  • @fearlessfront I might have a gas tank for ya

  • @Jejh4lom Is it just like my old one? Like, exactly the same??? If so, I WANT IT!!!1!11! lol

  • how heavy is everything you might lose proformance be carful not to make the frame too heafy :)

  • @gyfyasdugcuxjftsdvfb the frame is about 50 lbs

  • Hey fearless, you should check out my channel I race on ice there might be some stuff that might interest/help you and there'll be more videos in the winter of 2012 with a very powerful tractor (the green one)

  • You should turbo in it!

  • the karts badass if you build the motor i would go to (arc racing) and get yer performance parts there there very cheap and they no what there duing there and (nr racing) you can make tht about 16 plus horsepower with 265 cam, arc rod, flat top piston, roller rockers,26lb valve springs, stainless steal valvles, and a 22mm or 26mm mukuni it would be fast im sure 70plus mph give or take and some porting and yer lookin at one bad ass motor if you build it tht much get the stainless steal valves

  • @joe6991tav2 thanks for the tips man, I'm gonna do a rod and flywheel 4 sure, porting, valve springs, flat top, 22mm mukuni, new retainers, rings and such... Probably a thinner head gasket as well.

One thing i'm not sure of is wether or not to put in a cam, or use 1.2 rocker arms... I was gonna do the cam, but now I'm not sure I need to.

  • @Fearlessfront if you put a 265 cam in with 1.3 ratio rockers you will have about 320 inch lift tlk to the guys at arc racing there will point you in the right direction and tell you alot more than i can

  • @joe6991tav2 cool, thanks man!

  • You Should Put the key on the plate

  • looking foward to # 15

  • thanks for makiing a new race mower vid :)

  • Ur wife probably wouldnt like it if u lost ur testicles XD

  • @TheGreasemonkey34 haha, probably not!

  • DAMN! That motor sounds badass to me!

  • Are you painting it or powdercoat? I think it would look sick with a nice blue powdercoating plus it's durable and won't chip as easily as paint

  • @traxxluver I've thought about it... I'm not sure yet, If I ever want to change something on the frame, I'd have to get it re-powdercoated... if it was painted, I could blend it.

I want to powdercoat it, just not sure yet.

  • wen will u do another mudding vid

  • @cr85rider100 haha, April-May... it's winter here! everything is frozen!

  • Damn Fearless, what does your girlfriend think about all this stuff you're working on?

  • @brapboys503 haha, I told her she could ride it when it's done, I hope thats enough for her! lol

But seriously, she thinks it's pretty cool!

  • @Fearlessfront Ha, hell yeah man my girl thinks your lawnmower builds are cool as well. We're expecting a baby soon.

  • @brapboys503 thats cool, I have a 4 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl.... My son thinks the kart is really cool too.

  • @Fearlessfront Nice, lol. Kids are great.

  • @Fearlessfront By the way, could you upload some snow romps with the Craftsman? Put some chains maybe on those 13" or 14" back tires you got?

  • @brapboys503 shes parked for the winter, and we really dont have anymore snow, it's just frozen ground right now

  • @Fearlessfront Oh damn that sucks.

  • Nice dude, that things sounds/looks mean as hell.

  • Fearlessfront, your videos are awesome! and they are helping me quite abit. i am going to be building something soon. i am going to upload some videos of it. Keep it up man!

  • @TheRexx101 Cool! thanks buddy! good luck on your build!

  • Me and a mate thought it was probably a good idea to have some genital protection :p Looking good now, I like the chequer plate dash panel, very simple but effective. Hope you got all the grinding done :p Regards from the UK :)

  • what sort of welding are you doing? is MIG or MAG ?

  • @kristianrcr Mig, but I dont use gas so I guess you can call it flux-core. But it is a mig welder.

  • @Fearlessfront Why don´t you use gas, your welding beads will be so much better?

  • @kristianrcr he probably uses flux core wire which penetrates deeper and is intended to use without gas

  • @kristianrcr I'd like too, but that would be one more thing to "run out of" haha, I'll hook it up with gas someday!

  • your gonna cook your nuts over a bumb

  • awesome progress buddy!!

  • Love your vids they just don't come out fast enough, lol.

  • @Bunkers101 haha, sorry! It's been busy around here since the holidays!

  • This is going to be sweet ride!! It sounds FUCKIN' awesome!

  • I actually like watching endless amounts of grinding :P

  • When you can probably make a test drive?

  • @EisteesauferXXL not sure yet, I still have a little bit more to fit, grind, more parts... and hopefully the assembly goes smoothly... ( I doubt it will)

  • @Fearlessfront

    ah ok

  • Testicle protection? Racing lawnmower? Xbox?

    I love it!

  • @espermatazoide Best comment evar! lol

  • Fearless that thing looks pretty good, And I'm glad to see that you never tried to make it a over night deal. Can't wait untill I get to see you driving it

  • @newsmonkyjosh nope, I want it to be a showpiece once it's done.

  • That cart is awsome I like the work you ate doing on it it is bad ass wouldnt thought of doing that to a lawn mower tractor makes me want to do one some day well great vids from you fan in calif

  • @Tyou57 Thanks buddy! if you have a welder, anything is possible!

  • Nut protection update # 14 LOL

  • @Downeast1100 hahahaha!

  • that nut guard would be a great place for a cup holder

  • @jmsmessner thats what the wife is for!

  • whats your xbox live name man ill beast you at some games

  • i think you should get that frame powdercoated when your done so it will stay really nice for a long time

  • Looking good sir! Honestly, I wouldent even worry about a piston flying out. Its only a small engine. Do you play online Fearless?

  • HA! line the screw heads up blah blah learn how to PROFESSIONALLY spell when criticizing obieezx11

  • NUT BLASTING SHERMAN TANK RACING MOWER UPDATE 15 3/4!!!! LOL CANT FREEKIN WAIT MAN. NEW PARTS ARE LIKE CHRISTMAS YEAR AROUND.

  • @UncleJesseXXX I hope to ride the bitch soon!

  • What mod's will you make to the engine?

  • @2124reading lots and lots! there will be video of the rebuild. looking for roughly 15 hp

  • @Fearlessfront Cool, look forward to seeing it.

  • please line the scew heads up on your dash be profeshanel about it will look better.

  • "i dont wanna loose my nuts riding this thing" hahahahahahahaha i just pissed my pant a little idk why but that was really funny, just made my day. KEEP this bitch a coming!!!!!!! :)

  • @redzz02 lol! sorry about that!

  • man that thing idels like a hearly you will have them on your back man they have a paintent on that sound lol.

  • you should have thought of this befor man and had the motor drive from the other side then you would have kept your nuts

  • @obieezx11 the shaft would also be spinning the wrong direction, it would go 50mph in reverse

  • @Fearlessfront yes i thought about that just after i posted it and thought of well he wont reply as he never has befor but you did lol since your going to read this i was thinking the other day the hood looks real shabby for something you have spent so much time on and i realise your going to paint it but the shape isent that grate to look at pitty you couldent find something sleeker and meaner looking.

    regards Rod.

  • @obieezx11 those hoods are fairly rare now-a-days... I'll get it smoothed out the best I can, It has about 4 different color paint jobs on it, so thats probably why it looks like that.

  • no buddy but your ass is going to get bloody hot.

  • lookin great man! cant wait to see you thrashing the roads on it!

  • Must have went through a few rolls of wire with all the welding your doing on this.

  • @brodie1709 more than a few!

  • Nice job! Don't you hate it when you crew up, especially with welding? I was redoing my exhaust on the twin I shoved in the Murray. Was welding the pipes together on arc setting B, wire speed 3.5 and I managed to burn through the pipes in one spot. Now I'm going back out into the garage to fix it on the lowest setting.

  • @NicksGarageDoor yeah, that happend to me too, I had to weld on A (lowest), and medium wire speed, like 3. I got it eventually, I didn't get a ton of slag in there either.

  • Do not tighten the exhaust bracket that holds it to the frame or the bolt up on the exhaust will strip out.

  • looking good. I can't wait to see the test drive. Hay you played Just cause 2 yet?

  • @ShawnCFarm no, cant say I have. I want to try Battlefield 3 sometime

  • massive testicular damage

  • @mountainknife

    thats funny :D

  • Thanks for the start-up !!!!!

  • hey hit me up on xboxlive fearless gamertagg is blinkcarracer just say who you are i play bf3 and mw3

  • Hardwork deserves the best paint job
