I got one of these and it flew great and crashed like you would normal. Only about five times on day after charging it up it just was flying and the motor cuts out like I am letting the throttle off and then it will do that for the whole flight. Do you guys have any sugestions?
@movieshop1000 It flies great most of the time. Occasionally mine stops getting the signal from the controller and drops like a rock. I've crashed it ALOT before I broke the drive pin for the top rotor, so it flies all wonky and uncontollable now. But for $20 and free shipping you cant beat it.
Now, if you could get parts for them, to actually stock in hobby shops, that would be awesome. But I sure wouldn't sell it if I couldn't get parts for it.
just get an MCX or MCx2 for 40 more bucks or scout for 10 bucks more and can go to your LHS for parts and cheaper parts for a 100% better RC and its HOBBY grade
@UltimateRCnetwork I'll agree the that MCX isn't in the same class. But darkcore has a point with the scout. Its a much more stable helicopter than the S107 (it has a full 3-axis gyro), has a replaceable battery, 2.4ghz rather than IR (you can fly it outside in low wind, the gyro is that good). Also, any LHS that stocks air products will have the parts for it. Even given $30 for the Syma vs for the $50 scout, I would recommend the scout right now to anyone looking to get their first RC heli.
@thorprime1984 I have a scout. It does not have a 3-axis gyro, only one, just like this. There's never a need for pitch & roll gyros in coax craft with flybars as they physically stabilize themselves. The Scout is no more stable than this in my experience. I'll put up a review of that one soon.
syma is good for cost

@thedarkcore1 40 bucks more is 100% more and my LHS has no more MCX parts than Syma parts (none of either) :-/
