  • What's the name of the SONG? She is so beautiful! And blends perfectly with your fish! Congratulations! I'm Brasilian! And I love music.

  • wow.

  • stunningly beautiful!! w

whats the name of the song?

    much appreciation

  • @oceancalls52 discus grow up to 8 inches i think, and they need a tank that is both tall and wide, so basically nothing smaller than a 60 gal. maybe a 55, but that would be pushing it, and they would basically be the only fish cause of their size.

  • WOW! Such vibrant colours!!

  • Those are beautiful fish. Did you buy those from discusmadness? I've been getting mine from there for about 2 years. His fish are always healthy and he gives great support on maintainance. He also usually throws in a freebie every now and then to his regulars;)

  • I have a question: when you have Discus in a planted tank. Do you need to change water as frequently as in a tank without plants? what is the problem if you do not change the water frequently?

  • really nice fish check mine out

  • i have the exact same fish

  • ;-)

  • @haribojan Please whats the music called its so awesome.

  • you have such a beautifull tank.right now im waiting for my tank to cycle so i could add my discus. what ph do you recomend?

  • just need some tips on how long should i wait before adding discus on a 20 gal. tank. should i have the heater on during cycling?

  • @oceancalls52 discus need bigger than a 20.

  • whats the song ?

  • everywhere i go to find discus info,,,,,,,,,you are there......did you know how much people like your beautifull fish

  • ;-)

  • Any of your Discus Expired? Its been quite some time since you bought them from Gulmarg.

  • Yes, some of them expired. I've got a few new ones now.

  • @haribojan fish expire? what?

  • Comment removed

  • I think you should stick to 4 (3inch) fish max on this 20G Tank. Otherwise your fish will start dieing off in a month's time without constant water change.

  • i have a couple of small discusses and one is very aggressive towards others and never lets the other discus' around food. What should i do? It's already killed one by starving it.

  • It is unfortunate that you lost your fish. Sometimes, one or two Discus' in the tank could be very aggressive. In which case, the weaker ones will not even try to eat and they would eventually die. I do not have a solution for this, but you can try having more hiding places with rocks and drift woods which might comfort the others in the tank and allow them to recover. I'm sorry, I do not have a good solution for this ;-(

  • Thanks for your help i'll try to put more hiding places in the tank and see if that works.

  • where you buy discus from do they have a guarantee? i know most places dont but there is a place where i go to which has a 14 day guarantee, so if there is a problem with one of your fish you'll be able to take it back and get a refund/replaceable fish.

  • The red one that you show at the start most... its excellent!!what kind of discus is?im waiting my new 360litres and im making plans!! ;) you know i think that you should have some woods in there...it would make the fish feel better..(all that in a good mood)cause i have the most bad set up i ever had this time at my 160 litres..!!

  • NICE FISH

  • are thoes real plants?

  • Yes, they are amazon swords!

  • Amazing! How many litrs. is your aquarium?

200l?600l? I do these questions because I'm about to buy a discus tank...

  • It's little more than 400L.

  • What kind of fish can go with them are they freshwater tropical>?

  • Mostly you can have some tetras, black ghost etc. along with them. Simply avoid having any other fishes which are aggressive and fast moving.

  • Beautiful Tank. Can you tell me something about the lighting. I guess you have mentioned somewhere Neon lamps. What are they? Thanks

  • beautiful

  • hey how much a pair cost in india? here in chennai no one seems to sell these

  • It really depends on the size, color and the quality. It would cost you anything between Rs 3000 to Rs 7000 a pair.

  • oh thanks thats a huge investment :) and cant we feed dried tubiflex or brine shrimp? most aquarists online dont suggest so.why?

  • Amazing tank! Are they very hard to keep?

  • Thanks! They are hard to keep to start with. But, once they settle down, it is not all that difficult.

  • u probaly spend over 400 dollors on just those fish

  • Wow! This tank is beautiful but if it is only 50 gallons it is ridiculosly overcrowded.

  • It is 100 gallons!

  • Sweet in that case awesome tank for sure! Well decorated with some nice discus!

  • Thanks ;-)

  • how much for one of those bright red ones... they are real nice.

    Great tank!

  • exelent

  • oh yeah and how expensive are they?

  • ok a cuople of things

    1. how big is that aquariam?

    2. are discus peaceful?

    3. are they hard to take care of?

    4. do they need lots of plants rocks hiding places etc?

    5. do they die easily?

    6. what should be the temp of the tank the current of the tank how many plants should be in the tank etc?

    please answer PLEASE

  • 1. well its a pretty big aquarium id say 40-50 gal.

    2. yes and they get easily startled by fast moving creatures

    3. very

    4. not so much hiding places but tall things they can swim behind

    5. very

    6. temp has to stay stable 75-82F lots of plants no big or fast fish.

a common mistake is putting angels in with discus angels are very fast even though they appear slow.

  • .1 idk

    .2 yes very gentle

.3 very fragile and sensitive so yes

    4. they prefer plants and low light settings

    5 yes like i said in 3

  • 1. you have to get a big tank in order to keep more fish. 5 discus = 50 gallon

    2. very peaceful

    3. they are actually more harder to take care of. you have to do water tests and maintain it at the average ALL THE TIME or they will die.

    4. they don't really need hiding places. it's just for decorations

    5. if you can maintain the tank, they will not die easily

    6. they're freshwater/tropical fish. i'm guessing 75 degrees should be ok

    7. plants are also used as decoration. it's optional

  • hey thanks man!

  • that red one is a amazing were can you find them

  • WOW, nice discus!!!! What kind are the big red one?

  • i think their royal red discus

  • i live in canada, where could i find discus fish because i really want one, would petland, petsmart carry them or should i order them???

  • you're better off ordering them from online websites. Check around for prices first and reputation. Make sure they have a Dead on Arrival guarantee. Order in bulk to save money.

  • ok ty do u kno of any good sites????

  • It is easy to keep and even to breed Discus as guppies. A key is how to remove debris from tank bottom. Live plants are also very useful for removing nitrogen compounds from water. Use AquaJet 30, Amazon, which is designed to remove debris from tank bottom. More more information, go to fishtanksystems com
