Vic firth sticks are the best, ,my hands sweet a lot and the wood soaks up the sweet very nicely. I have never bought any other type of sticks ever. The last thing that was stated learn to write yourself is true. With one or two music theory classes you should be able to compose with help of computers. Midi can get your melodic message across to your other band mates with the help of some great programs from apple.
They will be performing in Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida on Feb 19th. Its a free concert with Clarence Clemmons and some suprise artists. Its a fundraising effort to raise money for Bicol Clinic Foundation. It provides free health care to impoverished third world countires like the Philippines, Nepal, Cyprus, Haiti and other countries where disaster struck.
I have always wondered where they went....the music always transported me and gave me some of the greatest connections into brilliant music and inspiring thoughts when I was much younger. So where are they ?
I waited for almost an hour by the pond area outside the Radisson Bar enjoying an Ashton VSG Churchill after the concert in Sacramento in 2000 and my patience was rewarded with seeing the band return from their rooms to the bar where I hastily interrupted their order by telling the Bartender this round of drinks is on me
I was truly honored to buy them a round, a small gesture of appreciation for having provided me so many countless hours of musical pleasure and enjoyment throughout the decades
This is an amazing song performed by an amazing band! What a thrill to see them performing (pseudo) live. I would love to see and hear them perform this (and the entire album) at full concert volume.
@2snorth Well you just missed out because Ambrosia headlined CalProg Oct 2 playing only their Prog Rock songs and ditching the soft pop. They Rock Hard and blew everyone away! You can get the highlights CD at the CalProg site.
Superb band. First two albums will live in rock lore. Unfortunately disco broke just when they did! Nevertheless, I managed to turn on at least a dozen friends who admire their sound, talent, and imagery to this day.
Great stuff.Hey how about posting some Danse With Me George. That has to be one of,if not one of my very favorite early Ambrosia songs to this day.I like how it starts out sounding like an early Zappa style and then the vocals change to a McCartney style.
Wish I could find tab for this!

@joya56 You should put this message on Ambrosia's Biggest Part Of Me here on you tube as it has more than
1,300,000 views and gets looked at much more than Time Waits For No One.
