The UK season was only 8 episodes long, they just extended it for the US version, and the 2nd season is already shooting, i think filming is finished in august 2008.

Look it's not about how hard it is and what not. It's giving them a look at a new culture. Any body who wrestles know that most of those wrestling technique is very basic. But if you sent an olympic level wrestler there or someone who has access to better facility/equipment/etc. really helps out. Most of the top wrestlers travel around to gain knowledge... Not that many of those tribal wrestlers even have that chance to do that...

Of course they still practice techniques that were from old times, but they have added more techniques they learned from other people around the world. If you put one of the younger Senegalese wrestlers into a legitimate wrestling camp, and train the proper way, and let him learn and drain new techniques. Don't you think he would do good?
