I'll get flamed for saying this, but I dunno. The series grew on me, and got much better in the 2nd and 3rd seasons. It actually comes as close as any series has to being G1 in terms of plot; it juts needs better animation style. the plot becomes very good and contains dozens of G1 nods and easter eggs later on.

Certainly beats the re-fried japanese imports. Armada-energon-cybertron; all JUNK. This was better, somehow.

Don't worry..I totally agree...this series is the best since the original series...it grew on me too...the other CGI/Japanese animation series are really gay and you have to be autistic to make heads or tails of it...

@Shotesu well i agree thatenergon was bad but armada sure were better than the g1(i seen all of them so no im not saying it because i grew up with armada)g1 is probobly the most boring of all transformers serie

1. g1 almost dont have any story line to it exept in a few episodes when its follow up series.

2. in g1 its just shows up new transformers from nowere without any thing that were saying that it would come a new transformers they simply just showed up and the same when the dissapear

@Shotesu Although I can't disagree with you because I didn't watch it, how could I? It looks ridiculous... Not only is the animation horrifying, but in this clip alone, what in the hell is going on? Why are the dinobots against them? What is with Ultra Magnus's personality? He'd NEVER behave like that in G1 to Optimus... I don't know, I think a lot of G1 fans like myself just could not give this show the benefit of the doubt enough to watch it....

@Shotesu Well I'm sure there were people who liked this show. I grew up watching the G1 Transformers, and the Dinobots were among my favorite characters, and to me this looks like one of the most stupid versions of Transformers ever, and I thought Robots In Disguise was dumb. Well for me Transformers Prime is one of the best Transformers shows in years since Beast Wars.

100000% agree. I have said almost the exact same thing and I usually receive a thumbs down and a rude comment. But facts are facts, the animation is freaking cheesy, the story is all fucked up, the characters are not even close to what they should be. It sucks.
