  • Nice job dude, we need more people like you teaching history.

  • Thanks for posting your vid! I love it!

  • Copperhead, The raid was far from the beginning of his intentions.

  • Just so all know, the first man to die in the Raid on Harper's Ferry raid was a free black man who was a postal worker. It kind tarnished his intent from the very beginning.

  • Thanks David... America is such hipocrates. John Brown witness slavery and fought against the dragon ( institution of slavery) and ascended into glory.

  • geatings from Sweden!

  • What a hero.

  • Thank you for this, made me smile !

  • we just learned about John Brown in history class and our teacher portrayed him as a complete lunatic

  • Actually Lincoln called him a "misguided fanatic" : P

  • David Rovice makes me proud to be from the US!

  • @nowellian If more were like David, he wouldn't need to protest. :) He's a great song writer and better person.

  • THANKS for sharing powerful historical ballad about John Brown.. help enlighten folks. Frederick Douglass gave a tribute to John Brown in 1881. The Library of Congress has good pics & archives. I like your musicianship & the somber tune. I imagine a piano/synthisizer, cello & violin added with some mezzo harmony:) Feel free to take & use our CourtneyClan Depression Blues song. See on YouTube. When will you be in AZ? I have friends & family there & will spread the word about you. LoveU.

  • Great song, looking forward to seeing you in Liverpool again in May, keep it up.
