  • Your story is very beautiful. You could make a movie out of it. God Bless you and those in your family that looked out for you--both in Korea, and in the United States.

  • How was your visit!!!??

  • Hello, would you be able to elaborate any more about your reunion? You have a lot of interested people wondering if you experienced any healing from the reunion? If you are interested, check out a book on adoption called: Adoption is for a lifetime. I believe this will help you in your journey.

  • What happen next?

  • I am korean adopted too, how may I do it?

  • wow! we anxiously await your next video!

  • Fascinating story. Looking forward to your 5th video!

  • keep up the spirit!

  • thanks! we're leaving for Korea in seven days!

  • Will you be making Video #5?

How is your trip to Korea and search coming along?

  • Eventually I'll be posting a 5th video...it's going to be a while, though. We traveled to Korea this June and met my biological parents. It was a life-altering trip that is going to take some time to process. But I hope to post video eventually...thanks for asking :)

  • Hi yoonsblur,

If you get a chance, check out Tobias Hubinette's work on the net. Some of his PhD work such as "The Adoption Issue in Korea, Diaspora politics in the age of globalization" was very interesting and educational. He is a Korean adoptee like myself.

Will look forward to seeing your video #5.

  • Oh it made me cried just hearing this.Hope for the best for you.

  • Sorry, I know you posted this comment forever ago...but thank you for your well wishes. We leave for Korea in a week!

  • I was abandoned from Seoul in 1976,left on a bridge. My dreams have come true through you, and I wish all the best. Life is not easy here in America, even first generation Koreans give me problems. I hope all the best for you, please keep updating!

  • Thank you, "jintonic" for your thoughtfulness and for sharing in this journey. My heart is with you...

  • I'm a wife of a Korean adoptee. My husband was also abandoned at birth. He's tried to find answers, but has been discouraged. I am following your story.....as it gives us hope that one day he will be able to reunite with his birth mother/ father. It seems impossible, but there is HOPE. We have a beautiful little girl and I pray that one day we find answers. Good luck to you and God bless

  • Thank you for taking the time to follow my story...I know that the process of searching can be an incredibly daunting process. My heart is with you and your husband. Please keep in touch and let me know if there is ever any way in which I can be of assistance!
