  • nice job pilot's!!

    RESPEKT!!!

    NANDÓ,

  • Considering that the pilot couldn't use the flaps for landing, he did a brilliant job of getting it down straight without banging it in. However it's a moot point whether it would have been better to do a wheels-up, instead of an asymetric gear landing; I'd assume that the hydro circuits were damaged in the aborted landing at EM, so maybe he had no choice in the matter.

  • some sweet info here

  • I bet the parcels in the back where shitting it....

  • Flying is 99.9% boring and 0.01% pooing your pants!

  • very good landing very nice

  • lol, airplane cream pie.

  • the fire truck spray the foam to contaminate the leaking fuel from contact with source fire... nice fast action.

  • dose this cost extra ?

  • the firemen are really idiots ;)

  • 0:42 if the right wing had continued up for another second or so the plane would have flipped over

  • Well done, pilots.

  • any landing you can walk away from is a good landing wether pilot was good or not. People moan of pilot skills and yet they have to put thier lives for others everyday meh i don't know about you but kudos to pilots!

  • lol i will help you to feel like you are in heaven

  • It certainly was an outstanding landing. I was just wondering, wouldn't it be easier and probably less risky to raise the gear again and perform a belly landing in the future as LOT 16 has succesfully performed one on an aircraft with wing-mounted engines (unless it's just the nosegear thats broke)?

  • @AustrianA340 I would have thought not. Attempting a landing without any landing gears would mean the under carriage would absorb the full impact of initial touchdown. You still have full control of the plane yaw & roll, making use of the wheel that is down until the plane slows to stalling speed. If its not looking good, bump the throttle, abort for another try.

  • why duos it say TNT on the plain

  • @gamer24061 Because that's the name of the freight company that owns the plane...

  • its a toy plain that's what i think and why duos it say TNT on the plain

  • I bet that created a pretty unpleasant noise in the cabin!

  • @CamShaft200 It's a freight plane...

  • Text book emergency landing. good pilots

  • @propjam2 He broke the undercarriage in a first attempt to land, that shouldn't have happend if he was a good pilot...

  • what a landing! wow!

  • Wow those pilots did a fantastic job.

  • So thats why my christmas present arrived late and soggy

  • Very good pilot.Difficult to land a plane that badly damaged and make a safe return.

  • also Cause life is a game so let`s play it to the full

  • Umm? Why can't they let the passengers out first becuase there is no fire and after they spary it with water

  • @Campervan26

Why can't they? Because it's a cargo plane you muppet there are no passengers!

  • Nice flying, Mister!

  • it looks like there shooting milk at the plane!

  • A normal landing in Burmingham!

  • @rapidfan97

Yes, only without rear tires: D

  • lol Tell me your desires! Tell me the way you want me

  • yay foam party

  • Lot of efforts for few sparks.....

  • @jamdoughnuts666 LMAO you act like you live in the slums of Kabul. You live in fuckin Britain, stop your whining.

  • tnt seems like a bad thing to put on the side of a plane

  • Plane porn jizz fest

  • @jamdoughnuts666 Yes, i'm sure Darwin admired ones ability to write copious amounts of drivel in the youtube comments section.

  • @jamdoughnuts666 You should think about writing a book....your already halfway there.

  • What a big F'in mess! I heard they are still mopping this Shit up!

  • @jamdoughnuts666 What I'm trying to say is not ALL of Britain is like that, and yes I have been to France, Germany etc. And for the record i've never been to Ibiza. All I'm saying is you can't know everyone. You're just taking something and applying it to everything. You say most people in Britain are retarded... No. Some of the smartest people come from Britain, and a large amount of inventions used in everyday life. I could say most Americans are fat and eat burgers all day, but they don't.

  • @jamdoughnuts666 Do you know every single Brit? Have you been to every part of Britain?

    Didn't think so.

  • @jamdoughnuts666 I know, I live here. But even if the crime rate is high there is no need for guns. I'm not trying to get into one of those Britain vs. America debates, but I'm just trying to prove a point. Most of crimes nowadays are either by stupid wannabe gangsters, crackheads or the two in one.

  • @jamdoughnuts666 ffs we don't need an essay. Why are you blaming tomibewi for unarmed police? It's not his fault. He doesn't make the law. Why should police carry guns? It's rare they're needed anyway; and even when there is a shooting, it ends up on the news and is the top headline for days. It's a big deal because it's so rare. And as you say about the riots; if there was no armed police at all, it wouldn't have happened. If you don't live here, why do you care so much?

  • great job sir!!!!

  • @jamdoughnuts666 Going abit off topic but why single out Switzerland when the rest of the world bar The Uk and New Zealand carry guns to be honest i think its for security purposes but in the U.K if guns are needed then Special police are brought in to handle the situations.

  • @tomibewi Police do carry guns in the U.K, all PSNI officers carry guns 24/7 even if the gun is only a sidearm, they also carry modern machine guns at road checks/traffic stops.

  • @jamdoughnuts666 You just posted dis information IDIOT, you obviously come from the US because your an arrogant git, Police as we call them over here not 'cops' the reason they don't carry guns is because they don't have to our country isn't as fucked up as yours

  • @jamdoughnuts666 im not an idiot i got it from an official source i cant post the link here because it wont let me..

  • @jamdoughnuts666 Yeah, i hear that geezer. For example my excavator license ran out (it lasts 4 years) and to get a new one i would have to take the test again and pay £600. So now i'm on the shovel for £6.00 per hour... Escape the uk!

  • The crash was the fault of the pilot to start with, so please do some research before claiming how great the pilot was.

  • @Neutrinoghost The cause of the crash was determined to be a poorly timed message from local air traffic control which the pilot misinterpreted, causing him to descend too quickly. The two pilots managed the situation with skill. i just did my research they landed the plane with precision seen as how they were missing a landing gear...

  • @tomibewi I know a TNT pilot who knows the pilot in question. One of the pilots disengaged the autopilot on approach to East Midlands airport resulting in the a/c touching down off the side of the runway ripping off the RHS landing gear. A quote from TNT "despite the Belgian pilot showing skill in his handling of the situation, the incident was down to human error. The automatic pilot system was disengaged due to a 'momentary lapse', and this lead to the accident". Both pilots were fired.

  • not enough foam sprayed, but lessons have been learned.

  • That's smoother than most of the landings I've experienced.

  • Yes,, Great job pilot/crew!! It's odd that there's no direct mechanical system for a crewmember to manually operate when the automatic/hydraulic, etc systems fail.. At work, we're able to open/close huge valves when the primary system isn't working.. It's slow going, but it does the job.. Such would not only save souls, but the aircraft too!!

  • @railadvocate There is a mechanical backup for lowering the undercarriage. The problem on this aircraft, is that the right hand gear had been left behind after a botched landing a East Midlands Airport.

  • @ 0:42 that was close!!! good job pilots!

  • If you need private tuition, DO NOT approach a company called "UNIVERSITY AND ACADEMY TUTORS", based at Jesson House, Coventry CV1 1JN. The owner of this company, Dr. Vincent McKee, is a SERIAL FRAUDSTER whose scams were revealed by Sky News on 12 January 2011. At that time, UAT went by the name ICUT. Following Sky News's revelations, McKee changed the name of his company to UAT and his OWN name to Dr. Patrick Kelly. A V O I D

UAT (UK) Ltd, Jesson House, Tower Street, Coventry, CV1 1JN, UK

  • If that was a scene from the cartoon Jimbo, it would be rude....all those trucks jizzing on it

  • wheres the crash :S

  • I want to hire the PILOT of the AIRPLANE. I want the PILOT to crash landing at my enemy's house.

  • Well done I would of been screaming like a big girl

  • Goog Job !!!!!!!!

  • ARSEHOLES! They broke my cousins thomas the tank engine set I was sending him!!

  • What's the point of calling an airplane "TNT" !?!?!!!

  • @degreenman Because it's a TNT plane...

  • Ya well don't and free english cream ouside.. for you flap jacks yuppY!

  • Yay! Good job. This is the same crash landing the barefoot bandit did.

  • Fantastic landing well done for getting it down safely.

  • Hes Bloody scratched the paintwork again (There goes his no claims bonus)

  • TNT Big bang squadron,Pilot 1 gravity 0 well done sir /madam

  • btw i dont thing the right main gear was down

  • That'll buff out...

  • plane drifting :)

  • The money shot starts at 1:38

  • WOW!!! Now that's a pilot!

  • I hope the pass got their money back

  • nice job!!! good pilot******

  • did anyone die? how much were injured?

  • @flight77711

the plane landed, came to a halt and didn't burst into flames. Yet you ask "did anyone die how many were injured", it's a f#cking parcel plane, I know there are a lot foreigners stowing aboard lorries and ships but not parcel planes, seriously wtf have you been smoking

  • That orange paint looked like a blindfold!!

  • No DrMemory this was for real it had tried to land at a short runway about 20 miles away a few minutes earlier

  • Amazing!!! Respect!

  • 2:00 4 tanks 1 plane

  • That is a remotely piloted drone, that is why the front half is painted orange.

  • @DrMemory667 Its not a remote drone, it's painted orange because that the livery colout. Google TNT, and you'll see it's a delivery company, who's colour is orange.

  • @DrMemory667 it was a dutch delivery service, thats why its orange, now the service is called PostNL

  • Shit that guy is good

  • Crash landing is the bets way to arrive in Birmingham ;)

  • where is the crash?

  • The people in that plane were most likely like:

WE NEVER SHOULD HAVE RODE THE PLAIN WITH THE TNT ON THE SIDE!

  • @Appleysong Nice.... you can't even spell plane correctly.

  • y land without wheels?

  • thank god no parcel was fatally broken

  • If there are many people, why they don't go away from the plane quickly?. Nice job from the pilot.

  • Credit to the pilot for saving so many parcels.

  • INSTRUMENTS CAN tell u everything is fine, but u r lucky if they dont lie the last second of aproach,in this case seems like the rigth wheel got stuck, didnt came down...

  • spoilers?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WHEELIE!!!!! *BOOM!* AWW MAN NOT AGIAN

  • Beaaauutttiiifffllllll. Nice job Pilots.

  • Brilliant job

  • Where is the loud rock or house music? This is Youtube people!

  • That pilot did an excellent job given what he (she?) had to work with!

  • Aerodrome bukkake.

  • fire trucks cumming on girl plane LOL :)

  • @gingerlycolors That probably seems fair to you, but it is not the way that competition works. Now anyone is free to provide any part of a postal service (provided that they meet the probity conditions. That is in the interest of keeping prices low for consumers. Preserving old jobs is not an issue. You are in a market too - the job market.

This sound harsh, but markets operate on Darwinian survival principles. They are not your friend.

  • 1:50 FAKE SNOW ^^ YAY!

  • @gingerlycolors That is the sort of thing that a government has to do when it sells a monopoly. Why should we care about the profitability of Royal Mail

  • Wait, so this was his (or her) second attempt to land the plane... and the first try took out the right-hand gear and flaps?

I thought it was a pretty impressive gear-up landing to begin with, but DAMN, that pilot is awesome.

  • @pontyperv actually you can see that the left side wheels are down thats why it landed that way.

  • @gingerlycolors So why do you want to tilt the playing field in favor of Royal Mail carriers?

  • amazing landing!!! exellent pilot!!!!

  • @Matiastacua its not always pilots fault ...

  • @Matiastacua

    Actually, no.

Both pilots of this cargo plane were dismissed as the reason for this landing was a botched landing a few minutes earlier at another airport that sheered off the right landing gear due to pilot error.

  • you don't see anyone get out of the plane pilot wise obviously its a cargo plane, but i would not be sitting around in there

  • Podklepią go i wróci do tanich linii lotniczych

  • @ginger fair enough

  • why spray milk?

  • @koolyman maybe it was full of cereal

  • Did anybody else come here thinking it was about a plane full of dynamite blowing up on landing?

  • thank god that they are save after the fail touchdown...

  • like a boss

  • this is not a crash. ITS A TOTAL WIN!

  • I'm glad it was alright!

    It could have been disastrous!

I mean my fucking Tracey Island Christmas present was on that bastard!

  • @noelht1 wow, you are so not funny. a joke thats been repeated over a thousand time is all that you could find?

  • That was some excellent flying by the pilot!! Kept it shiny side up, didn't catch a wingtip either. Bravo!!

  • its not a crash!

  • WOW!

  • TNT stands for what???

  • @1F74B

TNT is a Dutch post delivery company

  • @onlycooler1021 Мораль - посылки не пострадали!

  • @onlycooler1021 @1F74B - You guys might be interested to know TNT stands for Thomas Nationwide Transport, and had its origins in Australia. Back in the eighties it started expanding overseas, buying interests in the UK and the Netherlands.

  • @1F74B bomb jk i thinks its some cargo thing

  • there is no fire, why do they water it?!?

  • @TD4f22 So it doesn't catch fire?

  • @need4fastandfurious so much water?

  • @TD4f22 It's not like it's super expensive. The aftereffects of a smouldering part (from the great amount of friction heat that would build up) catching fire and igniting either leftover/leaking fuel or whatever the cargo is would be a lot worse than having to mop up a bit of chemical fire retardant off the runway.

So yes, you make absolutely sure it's not going to go up, by drenching it like crazy.

  • @TahreyUK ok :P

  • @TD4f22

Water? Who says thats water? Thats foam, You dont use water if fire caused by flammable liquids, dont forget this!

  • @SunnysBigLips why??

  • /watch?v=eF8EKhDYEAM

    AWESOME!

  • Why is there never video from inside the plane in these videos? I bet there is over a hundred phones and several cameras in there, surely someone tapes it. Is it confiscated or some bullshit?

  • @fuunguus It's a cargo plane.

  • @fuunguus Its a cargo plane!

  • @fuunguus Cargo plane as already stated. Also even if so, how many people in a situation like that are going to go from "phone turned off and stowed in hand luggage" to actively having it out and recording?

If I was on board and had my digicam handy I might have tried recording something, but past attempts at getting good footage of ANYTHING out of a plane window have shown it's fairly pointless. Might get better results in the cockpit but you can bet the pilots would be forced to hand it over.

  • Dont do that at home kids.

  • Comment removed

  • @pontyperv Ok 1st U dont even know how hard it is to fly a plane. 2nd Your a cunt!

  • Comment removed

  • @Indianboi24 some arsehole posted that comment NOT ME !

However you are a twat and anus for putting such a stupid comment on there. Grow up you moron.

  • @pontyperv I see 2.. nosewheel and 1 main..

  • Nice skid control

  • Great, they made a mess on the runway, For no reason. .-.

  • @epicflyer890 Standard proceedure, it's a precautionary measure more than anything, the engine will have been shut down probably as soon as it struck the runway but it's still be incredibly hot and because the wing is damaged, there could be a fuel leak. At least you can wash foam away, there'd be a lot more permanent damage if the aircraft were to catch fire!

  • When did this happen

  • @jetblueilikeful Long time ago...

if the video was uploaded on Dec 10, 2006 so it could be a little older than that

  • How did that not catch on fire

  • No panie pilocie, odjebałeś... Kółka ci urwało...

  • master pilot.

  • so thats what happense to my mail :P

  • Anyone else think it's inappropriate to slap a TNT logo on the side of a plane? :)

  • @Valreth "What is your cargo?" "High explosives." "Please proceed to the main terminal, over!"

  • @Valreth No

  • B- B- B- B- B- Balls of Steel!

  • lucky motherfucker

  • И всё таки, я хотел бы летать!

  • Unbelievable piloting.

  • @ShrikeArghast : do you know all the reasons why this aircraft lands like that ? lol

  • Do you know all reasons why the aircraft lands like that ? If you would know you would not say that lol

  • soft and easy master lander

    bravo!

  • @KStealed : for your information the aircraft is seriously damaged ...
