I remember getting the same "quality" education like this in texas. I think about the time my mom and I were watching a talk show and I had to ask, "Mom, what is a CONDOM?" as at the age of 14 scared the SHIT out of her, and she immediately bought a crap ton of SCIENCE based human sexuality books and gave them to me to read if I was ever curious about sex education. At first it freaked me out but looking back....my mom was really cool for doing that.
