Well, I suppose it could be said that, unlike his first two failures, the third was atleast understandable. It very well *could* have been "butterscotch candies".

In fact, I'd even consider that the more likely answer. The most common type of butterscotch food is obviously going to be pudding, but everyone is I'm sure familiar with butterscotch discs (same size and shape as cinnamon discs).
