A couple of years ago, I wanted to use the lyrics from "What Do You Want From Life" in my classroom. I sent a e-mail asking permission (Gotta set a good example) and Fee wrote me back, giving permission and sharing a lot of behind the scenes stuff. We corresponded for a week or so. I shared with him the feedback from my students (11th grade). He's been a sort of hero of mine since the 70's, talking with him was a dream come true, and I planted a seed with a couple hundred teens as a bonus.
I had recorded the Tubes on the Tube (A Midsummernight special) on my VCR back in 1983 but have lost the tape . Has anyone got a good copy of the whole (fantastic) show ? I miss it so much ...
nice one geezer...i was at this in newcastle where they filmed it...i then went 2weeks later and saw thin lizzy and culture club!!!!!...the sound was awaesome
