I think this has more to do with the recording than anything else. Imogen has a truly dynamic voice--hard to engineer to everyone's satisfaction. If you'd like to see the entire thing balanced a bit more to your taste, try "Jeff Beck & Imogen Heap, Blanket, Live at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, London, 2009", the full-length version of this video. Seems a bit more balanced to me, though being a guitarist myself, I enjoy hearing Jeff at this volume.
