I had a Century Hummingbird and basically, the higher you wanted to go, the faster the rotors had to spin, and you couldnt fly inverted. Would it be possible to invert this helimax? Is the Helimax Axe CP Collective / Cyclic? Or would one need to buy a kit to be able to invert?
picco z? are you serious? the little 2 channel foam toys? try and fly a real heli. the difference is, the picco hovers by itsself. you actually have to DO SOMETHING to fly one of these. therefore, not boring :O
thats half right, in normal mode anyway... the motor speed AND the pitch adjust synchronously. thats where the "collective" comes in in "collective pitch" (CP). they collectively work together.
you're actually right, when you hit the 3D/"idle up" switch. with this heli anyway, i believe the motor goes to 100% constantly, and the blade pitch changes positive/negative for aerobatic, 3D, and inverted flight.
nice i got the same 1 in purple i still need practice though be 4 i can hover 4 that long! or even keep it n the air for 10 seconds (yes i do suck that much)

approx. 3 min on supplied NiMH battery. Remember:
You should never fly more than 6 minutes or 10 volts. You'll ruin the battery.
Ask anyone that flies T-Rex 450 SE V2s that pays a hundred bucks (and these are 11.1V, 2200mAh, 20C)
per battery. Or who has an electric T-Rex 600 that pays Two hundred and thirty bucks per battery.
Just because you CAN fly that long, does not mean you're supposed to.

whats the deal here? does the motor always spin the same speed and u adjust the blade pitch the whole time or what?

Excellent hovering tgwolfwood! I love how well the AXE flies. A coworker of mine just recently bought one and I flew it. VERY smooth and stable.
