HCG makes your body eat the fat for nutrients however they are dirty and not clean as eating right. It's common sense. While it did take discipline to lose that weight I applaud you. But I hope you have learned to eat healthy to maintain that weight, because that is key. Losing weight is a lifestyle change after all... with a few cheat days thrown in ;P

im on the hcg diet as well and i dare the haters to try the 500 cal diet without hcg. of course its not eatting that makes you lose the weight ,the hcg helps your hunger and saves your muscle mass, that way the only weight being lost is stored fat(your muscles use fat for energy). maybe the haters should do some research before opening there mouths.
@americanidolbabe3 the diet plan does advise exercise, but on such a low calorie diet it would be really dangerous. But then if you DONT exercise on that calorie intake you'll end up losing muscle mass

@thebellacera Please don't! No Doctor with a good consience would advise you to go 91 days on a diet of less than 1000 calories. A normal woman needs 1500 just for basic bodiy functions like your heart and lungs and brain. Plus hcg is just a pregnancy hormone, it's not even legal in the UK

im on the hcg diet as well and i dare the haters to try the 500 cal diet without hcg. of course its not eatting that makes you lose the weight ,the hcg helps your hunger and saves your muscle mass, that way the only weight being lost is stored fat(your muscles use fat for energy). maybe the haters should do some research before opening there mouths.

@americanidolbabe3 the diet plan does advise exercise, but on such a low calorie diet it would be really dangerous. But then if you DONT exercise on that calorie intake you'll end up losing muscle mass

Omg you people realise that HCG isn't a drug right!? It's the hormone released to prepare your body for pregnancy! You are essentially fooling your body that you are pregnant. No-one really knows the long term affects of doing this hence why it isn't even legal in the UK. Plus when she says low calorie she means around 600 a day. THATS DANGEROUS! and on 600cal a day you would lose the weight without the hcg.

@thebellacera Please don't! No Doctor with a good consience would advise you to go 91 days on a diet of less than 1000 calories. A normal woman needs 1500 just for basic bodiy functions like your heart and lungs and brain. Plus hcg is just a pregnancy hormone, it's not even legal in the UK

@DeadlyChinchilla Thats what annoys me! Each pound of fat contains about 3500cal....if you cut out that many in a day of course you'll lose weight quick. All these people will do this diet and not know how it will affect them later in life. Years of faking pregnancy could end up in fertility problems, they just don't know. Glad i'm not the only person who sees the blind stupidity in it

I went on a 1200 calorie diet did 3 hours of cardio exercise every day had a personal trainer and was "guaranteed" results.... In 3 months I only lost 2LBS.... So screw you and your crappy comment! If that works for her then so be it, at least shes trying to be healthy!

Guys loosing weight is easier than what you think, and you dont need injections, sometimes the bad efects of this might come to surface in the years to come! i was very slim, then i started partyin and eating lots, i went up to 200 lbs, im tall, but still i felt so huge that decided to stop the drinking, and start eating healthy, big breakfast with fruits and eggs, and for lunch and dinner fish and loads of salads, run every day 30 min, u dont need a diet, or injections, just a new lifestyle!

I rhink you spending time on reputable sites (Dr.Oz for example) and learn what hcg pregnyl is, I'm do not mean to come off as rude or condesending but it was the best thing I have done fro myself in years. Size 11 to size 5 in 42 days. And, yes, i cheated a bit here and there....

@averywright if you just went on the 500 calorie diet, your body would go into starvation mode and you would lose the wrong kind of fat and you would probably get sick...duh. do your research before you go saying that it's a waste of money. It's not.
