I was fortunate to have been able to walk on the original porch of the Munsters house on the Universal Studios backlot. It was cleaned up because it's still used for other shoots.

Butch Patrick shows up sometimes but not as an actor more like a spectator. They are distressing the house a little each year but have to be careful because of the City's zone ordinances. 1313 Mockingbird Ln is just about 50' of pavement at 3636 FM 813, their residence, not an actual city street.

Marilyn (Pat Priest) is 73 this year. She is such a sweet person to meet. Chuck and Sandra built this house with a lot of love. They have also built Herman's Munster Kart from two Ford Model A bodies just like the original, and it runs. George Kelly (Grandpa) brings his Dragula also.

That is the coolest house I have ever seen. I can't begin to imagine what it cost to build/maintain the home. What's really great is that they donate all that money to charity.

To top it all off, they give big proceeds to Charity. These two are such an inspiration and that attention to detail is like a Munsters Fan Dream come true! The inside is pretty cool but they did a noob job on the outside even the house on wisteria lane with more than 4 times altered fassade looks more simular than this cabin.

I went to the USH twice and this house samples the orginal house no doubt but go to their website and check the house in bright daylight the facade paneling look totaly different here, its just plain and thats a big flaw.
