I saw this very same glitch in Dead Space, on my first run, after killing my first enemy.

He got trapped in a doorway and started shaking. I was like: HOLY SHIT!! I TORE IT APART AND IT'S STILL SHAKING!!!

It's funny because Dead Space initially took credit for having "immortal enemies" which you would never be able to kill; but which you needed to tare apart in order for them to leave you alone. They dropped that feature out in the end, but since that was my first enemy I thought they hadn't.
