How to fix the flashlight in SCCT Versus (with Xfire)

Interesting; were you a regular? Or have you recently discovered CT? Tbh I figured they'd shut down the servers by now, but I suppose with the fail DA Versus, *shrugs*

hey i'm having bigger problems when i hit versus on splinter cell menu it says "this will launch splinter cell versus" i hit confirm or whatever and it exits splintercell and just takes me to my desktop. and then i just sit there. plz help ty =)

Sometimes it has problems when you launch it from singleplayer, try launching it directly from the versus folder. Or if you have xfire you can just right click on the icon>launch>Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Multiplayer

@DoomFist94 Yeah. Try renaming the .bak.exe to just .bak

Then edit the .bat and make sure it says .ex at the end. I think it should work now.

@DoomFist94 Do you mean you now have a .exe.bak and a .ex.exe, etc? I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about, but if it is, then that's definitely the problem.

@DoomFist94 Did you have "hide extensions for known file types" unchecked when you renamed them?

@DoomFist94 Before you renamed them, did you copy the original .ex and .exe to your desktop and then move them back later like in the video?

@DoomFist94 In your Versus\System folder, what files do you have right now? You should have SCCT_versus.ex(3.5MB), SCCT_Versus.exe(25KB), and SCCT_Versus.bak(25KB) for this all to work. And make sure the .ex, .exe, and .bak are file extensions and not just part of the name.

@DoomFist94 That's strange...it's supposed to close itself automatically when it's done installing. Well, if you think it installed, when you looked for it, did you do a search in your computer? Try "3Danalyze.exe". And don't worry about the x86 thing. I think that's only for 64-bit operating systems or something. Just use the regular one.
