It is more important what Islam believes, but I too believe Ayisha was nine went he "consummated" his marriage to her. There are too many "traditional Islamic sources" that agree. If such a woman in Islamic history could narrated 2210 hadiths, her age at the time she married Mohammed shouldn't be too big of a mystery as to a historical fact, especially when she herself stated this fact!

It was a Father that was asked to kill his own Son by God but it never happened as this was never God's intentions as shown when God said no spare his life. America, Israel, Serbia, Armenia, Greece, East Timor, Thailand, India, Philippines, most of Europe and the entire Middle East. Read the Koran and see what it says about non-Muslims, and what is to be done with them if they refuse to convert.

If I wanted to know Islam's history, I'd read up on it. If I wanted to know it's achievements in science etc., I'd read up on that too. It's great to know that the Muslims did have a thriving culture and plenty of good in it, unlike the JTF video which claimed "that religion makes people retarded." But surely every religion and culture has some good in it. I didn't want (short) history on Islam in this video....

However, this video confused me. 8 minutes of nothing. Sure, the JTF video was intense, but it presented a huge wealth of information about current world issues and the organization's opinion on it. This video, which is intended to refute the claims made by JTF, did not discuss those (false?) claims directly. We just get a brief history of Islam and some info on achievements....
