Is it true most people did not specify their Rainbow D2s, D2As and D3As with the R-1024 power nozzle (you know, in the years 1974 to 1981)?

I sold these back in 1976. Unfortunately, our sales manager was a real sleaze and arranged demos to people who could least afford them. The lure was for a drawing for free groceries. As long as I worked there, I never saw a drawing or anybody winning free groceries.

Hopefully, this company has outgrown the "cold call telemarketing" technique for generating leads. I made several sales when working there even though I was lousy salesman. It was tough to sell a $500.00 vacuum cleaner in '76.

lol i sell these for a living its not a damn vacuum but it does have a vacume attachment but eny who you should really check out the new version its amazing blows me away everyday it makes that look like a 8track

@slowestcivicsboost I have a E series. I also have a D4SE. I was able to go tot he vacuum museum where I got to try every Rainbow made. From Model A to the E series. trust me the D2 is lightyears ahead of many of the competitors such as thermax

hey nice video of ur rainbow D2 i have one just like it but the motor needs to be restored it is louder than it should be and it also has the 3 prong hookup for the powernozzle

You can see me vacuuming my cat with that same (30 year old vacuum) under: chellawellabella: Schooch getting vacuumed. I just had a Kirby vacuum demonstration and after he was done with shampoo and all, the Rainbow still picked up more dust and cat hair.
