great video. I've been eating out almost every single day for the past four years, since I've been in college. At some point, I started letting my fears run my life, and keep me from doing certain things. I feel completely sedated and numb a lot of times now. Also, I'm 23, and still completely dependent on my parents financially. I've had the urge to be more self reliant, for some time now. I have hope that including more raw foods will give me the spark I need to gain control of my life
I just found this and it made my day!!!! I just so love you, you're such an inspiration, I love to listen to you as you share your light! mmwwah! Love Lowanna xxx
Wow your doing so good. I just finished a big quart glass of Cabbage tomato celery spirulina Juice. It really is good too. Sounds like raw food has really helped you aot too.
Keep it up and spread the word. People will Listen I know I like what you had to say. Look me up on Facebook my name is Douglas Beckling In Calif...
That is GREAT! Don't be surprised if cravings or detox pop up later (they do for some people). I just look at is as a wave, ride it through, and then come out feeling MUCH better on the other side! :D
It´s great seeing videos like these. Everyone is calm, collected and high-spirited. I just started raw 7 days ago and it has been amazing so far. I thought I´d have cravings for other foods but I don´t at all. Looking forward to the next few weeks - I really don´t see any reason why I would go back to my old diet. Raw is easy!
Also Boris, CONGRATS on using BFL to regain your body! I LOVE that workout program the best out of anything I've ever done for amazing results in a short amount of time! :) I was a soldier, and the Army's PT program doesn't have squat on BFL.
While I understand what you're saying, my faith is a HUGE part of who I am. The majority of the things that I have done in my life are because of and backed/bolstered by my faith. They are NOT done by me alone, but by He who works through me. So no, I don't see that as being hypocritical at all.
Also, I am glad to hear you have Body For Life experience. using BFL I now pretty much have a body worthy of a magazine cover (I didn't say it first haha). I can also relate to your depression and struggles with business. I went 90% raw for about 2 months and after 3 days lost the addiction to bad foods and felt amazing and saw results in my body. I was depressed at the time and knew that if my life circumstances were different it would have been the happiest time of my life.
3:04 you believe more in letting go and just letting things happen. I respect everything you have done and the great progress you have made in your life. Isn't it a bit hypocritical to say you believe in just letting things happen? I think YOU deserve more credit, not your faith.
I got Rawvolution when I was first getting back to raw (I had tried once in 2004). His recipes are broken down by how difficult, equipment, and have a lot of flavor (particularly garlic and sea salt or Nama Shoyu). I also got Raw Food Real World at the beginning, and made some of the easier recipes from there to build my confidence. Then I got Living On Live Food, which has a LOT of recipes, some I like, some I don't, but that's to be said of any food book really. HTH! :D

I have been researching raw for several months now but not sure how to make the switch. Can you give some basic tips or resources that helped you?
