I love it - it sounds fantastic, you have some neat ideas! If only there was an easy way to find an orchestra to play it for you. I'm trying to do exactly the same thing but with string quartet music. Just started it though, I'm going for a punchy feel with mine. Could you check it out on my channel? Also I was wondering what software you were using for this great sounding playback? I'm using Sibelius so far but that's it.

I like it! The music is brooding, but not strident, and it matches the movements of the actors well. I always thought that Murnau's film was more frightening than the Hammer horror stuff because it left more to the imagination. (It is amazing that it survived the purge after Bram Stoker's heirs sued Murnau for copying Dracula - only one print remained intact!) The brooding music you wrote contributes well to the suspense and lighter moods too. I shall check out part 2 later!
