for some reason i can not see my utauloid voice file. i have it in UTAU>VOICE and it just doesnt show. I can still save files in it and even use them in utau but when i go to computer and search or them...they just dont show. HELP MEH PWEASE!!
if yes [like me] ur comp is a derp. it does not understand that u [if this ur ur computer.. fine i will say me cause this is MY computer] does not understand that i have all the rights adn i am administrator so it will not let me change files..
i THINK what i did was move the folders [or copy then delete later] to my desktop and moved it back
course i do not have a lot of syllables and MAYBE while it was on my desktop i had recorded one syllable
The frq's are made so basically it doesn't take 2 hours to load the song in UTAU when you want to hear it (pressing the play button), so yes, it is definitely worth the wait. "oto" in Japanese means sound, and oto-ing (just making it a verb...) is what you do to the sounds in order to get rid of extra space before and after to note, or to make the note transitions more smoothly, etc. Basically, it makes the UTAU sound better. :D
@jingles5492 What I did with the frq? When I clicked that button that made the frq screen pop up, that was to make the frq file. It is put into your voice bank folder. They basically allow the .wav files (your syllables) to make a correct sound in UTAU.
@jingles5492 So, when you oto (using it as a verb lol) a sound, it makes it sound less robotic. And getting rid of the empty space at the beginning and end helps do that. The frq file is... hmm I guess it makes it "official". ^^; lol
you know, I've asked this and STILL haven't gotten an answer, is there a way to get the japanese characters to show up in Utau? I have the english patch and all, but the stuff that isn't translated is only in a bunch of symbols, so I can't use the default voices and can only use Romanji for my Utau... I really need to know this...
@4wendy16 You're computer does not recognize Japanese symbols and the patch doesn't translate everything. So if you have Windows, go to the start button then "control panel", and find the "regional and language options". Open it and go to the tab that says "Advanced". Where it says "Language for non-Unicode programs", select Japanese. No, this does not change all your programs to Japanese, this simply allows programs using "Unicode" (Japanese falls under that) to be read by your computer.
@otakuJami ok well I was fine till I got to advanced, I'm running windows vista and I couldn't find an advanced option... OH found the non uni code :D now lets see if this works...
Here's a odd question, I just finished my OTO.ini stuff, went through my list and every one of them is done. The thing is, I closed UTAU to get it out of the way, but when I opened it up later it brought up a wierd message:
??"Ls.wav"??????????????????
??"Vs.wav"??????????????????
This hasn't ever happened before making the OTO.ini stuff, so I'll thinking it has to do with that. Any ideas what it is and how to get rid of it so everything's okay with my UTAuloid in the end?
@Sweetnasizum Something either happened to your UTAU program or something happened while OTO-ing. Try redownloading UTAU first and see what happens. (Make sure to take out all the voice banks from the UTAU folder before reinstalling though)
@otakuJami Well, now I don't see the message box anymore... I went ahead and made a copy of my voicebank in case something happens though. I actually put up a bit of a demo today, I still need practice... but it's not as bad as I thought it would be ;D
@ChaosMyth1012 lol how high did you have your speakers? It's different on everyone's computer and there seems to be a lot of comments concerning volume.
hi~! is there like,anyway to replay the voice while editing??like,to check where you put the green line or whatnot.cus i dont know where the voice begin ^^;
@XxRavenxChanxX You don't need the alias. You don't need your computer to read Japanese if you have the English translated ver. (See my first tutorial)
@myaccount4favorites Ahaha don't feel bad. It happens to everyone. Whenever I lose something ota always in the most obvious place (but I never look there first)!! I'm glad I could help. :D you don't owe me, that's what I'm here for. ^^
Can you please help me out with the missing frequencies that you went over at the end of this video? Teto is missing all all sounds that begin with R, and when I try to do what you did by clicking Initialize freq. map nothing happens even after 5 minutes. I have UTAU vet. 2.76 and the beginner-friendly voicebank of Teto Kasane.
Yeahh, the creator of Camila Melodia is really good at UTAU and knows a lot as if she made the program herself owo

When i paste in my alias and set it and then go to an other oto and then back to the one i pasted the alias in, the alias has disappeared!
SourieChan 3 months ago
@SourieChan Are you sure you set it before cilcking on another sound? It should stay if you do the alias --> set --> click away.
otakuJami 3 months ago
@otakuJami Yea! But when i do it with bya or kyo and those only the first letter stays when i set it O.O
SourieChan 3 months ago
@SourieChan Are you doing hiragana for the alias or romaji?

@otakuJami hiragana

@jingles5492 lolz... 5:40am is too early to learn!

My computer can't read Japanese and I can't get it to, I don't have the install disk either.
Does it affect anything?
