When we ended him, a Burning Legion high priestess named Delrissa ressurected him because Kil'jaedan still needed him to get the Sunwell going. At that point, Kael'thas ended all loyalty to Illidan and instead put his devout in KJ.

kil'jaeden, archimonde and vaelen are EREDARS. its their race. Archimonde and kil'jaeden became evil because they agreed the pact that sargeras (the ex master of the burning legion) offered them. vaelen denied it so the naaru came to help them and they called the eredars of vaelen DRANEI it means the exiled ones in naaru language.

@cris1500pher Basically after the sunwell was destroyed, Kaelthas needed a source of power because his race was addicted to magic. So at first he used the mana rifts in tempest keep, then after he was beaten, he was totally stripped of his power and ended up going back to the sunwell, which was going to be used as a portal for Kil'jaeden, so he left illidan and joined him

Gotta love Kiljaeden's animations. I just love how he first "climbs" up from that portal and when he dies, you can really see how he struggles to maintain himself in this world. Just awesome (especially considering that blizz could have made him just another walking Eredar lord with little different armor etc.)

Sargaras was in warcraft 2 and 3. There was a clip of him in 2, and a shadow of him in 3 as he ripped apart guldan. Lol blizzard still should have kept the original Kiljaeden, he was kick ass. Warcraft 3 is the best warcraft of them all 2 my opinion. lol

@SapTahMac Actually, if you bought Warcraft 2 while it was still being sold, the manual had a picture of Gul'dan. It also had a very detailed picture of Sargeras, which Blizzard still refers to. And there is a picture of Ner'zuhl in Warcraft 2.

And secondly, since this IS WoW, none of this is canon to begin with, and nothing that happened in WoW will exist in Warcraft 4.

Considering on my provate server Sunwell is modded to fit level 80's with full raid armor, each of the regular mobs take about... 5-15 minutes each with a 20 man. So, considering he had 29,654.6k health, I think we did a nice job. ^^
