The rest is an illusion in her outfits. Janet also dances complicated steps. Beyonce has the old school glamour image and singing down.

You can tell it's not lipped. Why would some lipsynch their performance and have it not be perfect? She's flat on one or two notes, which is NO BIG DEAL, but it's obvious enough that it would have been fixed had it been on a lip track or an album. And she doesn't riff as high as in the album, probably because the energy is too high for her to rock it every night in a live performance.

Which is what makes this even MORE perfect. Because she can sing like this LIVE!!! Girl is FIERCE!!!

This is such a FUN little party song....I like the cajun/creole syncopation she includes at a nod to her maternal heritage.
