  • Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Kia Baat Hai..!

  • Bulleh Shah says " Asaaan merna nahi , gor paya koi hor " ..

because he had attained the Rank ov "Baqa Billah" in sufism .....

  • Bulleh Shah should be taught in the schools of Pakistan, India and rest of the world ( with proper translation ). He says " kanjri bannya Miri izzat na ghatdi; mennoo natch key yaar manawan they." He puts the kanjri at the same level as himself. Born in a syed family he was supposed to consider himself superior to non-syed. However, as bulleh thought that all were equal, he says "jirra saanoo syed akhey; dozakh Milan sazaaeean" "jirra saanoo araaeen akhey; behishtay peengaan paaeean". This ki

  • Pathaney Khan has sung very well, with lots of feelings in his voice. May he rest in peace. Bulleh Shah will never die in the sense that his kalaam will be sung till the end of this world.

  • Can anybody tell if Bulleh Shah wrote this Kafi after the death of Shah Inayat. Why does Heer say that "Mera Ranjhan Hun koi hore". Heer would never say that unless Ranjha had died. True love never changes nor does it ever die. Milahi

  • @Milahi1935 No Bulleh Shah did not write this kafi after the death of Shah Inayat but these verses portray something else.In these lines Bulleh Shah acknowledges shifting away from the worldly beloved (Shah Inayat) to the Divine Being. As such his assertion of immortality for himself. It also suggests the alienation of the soul from the body.Body being constituted of "dust" will go back to dust and so "the false figure of flesh and blood"lying in the grave is Bulleh Shah no more.

  • @hectic20001 U have a good point. However, Bulleh also said Jadon yaar hoia raazi, raazi rab hogaya. To him divinity and patching up with a TRUE friend was similar. He ALWAYS loved God. He wanted to lift the love of humans to the love of God. That is why I cannoy understand what he meant by Mera Raanjan hun koee hore. Heer would NEVER give up Raanjan as Bulleh never gave up Shah Inaatat. Thank u nvertheless.

  • "Bulleh Shah assan merna naheen; Gore paya koi hore" means that bulleh shah is never going to die; The man in his grave is somebody else. This in my opinion is the greatest "shair" ever written. This philosophy is unique to Bulley Shah. He has said something similar in another of his ghazals. This takes away the fear of death and gives man the immortality that he so cherishes. Milahi

  • dhoor ka kiya mat lab he?

  • @abidshaheen :

Dhor means animals (usually used as a plural), especially large domesticated mammals like cows, buffaloes, etc. It is used both in Punjabi and Urdu. It is usually used with the word "dungar" like "dhor dungar". Both have same meaning.

  • wht does goor mean in the last line?
