Keep the show chain (collar) under the chin so you have control over the goat's head.
There's two major problems in your video; First, you don't show your Boer Goats in a halter, you show them in a chain and lead. Second, NEVER step behind your goat while showing, especially showmanship. That is the easiest way to lose control of your goat, especially for young children. If you need to step in front of your animal and that means stepping in front of the judge for a second, then do it. A judge that knows what he's doing will find that perfectly acceptable.

wow i didnt know about not stepping behind your goat. i dont do it often but there are times when i do. ill keep that in mind..
one thing the video left out though was that you should always always keep the head staight forward.
