  • God of Guitar is Ritchie Blackmore !

  • It's not every day you hear Deep Purple singing 'Knees Up Mother Brown' (@5:04)! It seems 'Running Bear' was a folk song too far for RItchie, though, as he runs off @5:47. Ian Gillan seems to be looking to see where Ritchie has gone @6:34, although he soon re-emerges once Jon Lord starts playing the 'Black Night' riff on the piano. And at the end of the clip, you can hear Gillan introducing a "Swiss folk song" - the video for which is also here on YouTube!

  • Something must have pissed him off.

  • I'm always wondering how the hell cable is still on the guitar when Ritchie twist guitar over his head...

  • i don't like he smashes strats...i always kinda feel sorry for them xD

it's really a great show he puts on!!!!

and jon mkes the noises just like in 1972 with his hammond at the end of each space truckin/mandrake root!!!
