  • Why would you click on a NASCAR video if all your going to do is poke fun at it? You're wasting your own time.

  • OOOH LOOK!! HE IS MAKING A LEFT TURN!! AHOHGOAHHH

  • fuckin plate tracks are too fuckin EZ!

  • Tony Stewart:"I'd wreck my mom to win a championship,i'll wreck your mom to win a championship

  • post game show?

  • this could be his only win.

jayski says that david ragan is moving to JR motorports in nationwide full time.

i guess his sprint cup days are over...

  • it's like, "last lap, we're all going to lose, might as well wreck, fellas."

  • I was there! new york stater at daytona!

  • @KeselowskiTheMan i was there too!

  • I remember this race like it was yesterday, I sat right off turn 4.

  • look at McMurrys car at @2:14! the tear off is torn from the wreck!

  • I was there and I was busy watching everything else going on I didn't even realize Ragan won. That was just insane. First time I've seen them wreck twice on the last lap. I hope the 2 car draft and the pack racing eventually are both effective together.

  • Ive always liked Ragan ive followed him since he replaced mark martin in the 6 im thinking of following him when mark retires

  • wow I can still hear the raging alcoholic Kasey Kahne fan 2 rows behind me.......

    KAASEY!!!!!! KAAAASSEYYYY!!!!!! CCCOOOMMON KASSSEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

    this race was epic...

  • So no one died with all that shit going on yet Dale Sr. did.

    =/

  • @Kranical dude come on. that was ten years ago. since then they have a new car, safer barriers, mandatory full faced helmets, mandatory HANS device. i miss him just as much as the next guy, and still remember seeing the crash as a 14 year old kid. but a lot has changed since.

  • @evilwatermelon Do people always have to die 1st before making things safer?

  • @Kranical sadly yea... or so it seems. every change in nascar is because of a death of near death. just look back at everything thats changed in nascar since the 80s.

  • It's funny that in the beginning of the year, both David Ragan and Trevor Bane were wrecked in the Gatorade duel race, yet Bane won the 500 and Ragan won the 400. lol

  • That was a crazy finish... Congrats, David!!

  • Johnson is lucky he didn't flip over, judging by the way he was hit.

  • Vickers didn't start either wreck. the first wreck was because Kahne hit Vivkers and it caused him to hit Gordon. The Second wreck happened because Martin didn't realize that they were 3 wide and he came down, Vickers was as low as he could go

  • I remember how the Commentarist in my country calld Stewart's car the "Burger Car", I LOLed

  • Fucking Burton

  • Lmao @ Jimmie just reversing to the finish line on the last lap.

  • Thank god Vickers wrecked at the end. He started the two previous wrecks.

  • Everyone will be glad to hear that pissedoffnascarfan "deleted" his account. : )

  • @pissedoffnascarfan You fucking retard. It isnt the engine package, its the cot dumshit. The BUMPER LINE UP. Nothing to do with the engings dick fuck. Peace out NIGGAH.

  • For those of u that totally hate the TWO-CAR TANGO you will b happy to know that in 2013 NASCAR will again change the design of the cup car so expect to see the pack racing back again by the 2013 500! So for the time being deal with it and just watch! The tango was completely made up by the drivers! SO QUIT COMPLAINING!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @pissedoffnascarfan IT ISN'T NASCAR's FAULT YOU FREAK!!! The reason why they race like this is because of the new surface(s) at Dega and Daytona. If I were NASCAR I would'nt respond either from the trash you talk and plus your blockheaded mind doesn't know what you're talking about. I would rather watch this kind of racing than sitting waiting for NASCAR to repair potholes in the track. They couldn't draft up to eachother so fast because the track was too bumpy to go all out you prick

  • @TheApostleEF That clown had been posting rubbish comments on my videos so i clicked on his profile to block him and it said he had deleted his account. Thank god!

  • @KA128183 Yeah I mean this guy had total problems Lol

  • @pissedoffnascarfan Shut up bro. You obviously weren't at the damn race but you were rather sitting here calling people coons and the N word (don't like saying it or typing it). You obviously have the balls to sit here and say it in front of all these people

  • Comment removed

  • @pissedoffnascarfan You remind me of Katt Williams lol

  • Comment removed

  • @pissedoffnascarfan wait what? I'm not black

  • If yall hated the race on TV and the two car drafts then why not go to the damn race?? Was there for my first time and was the best race I've ever been to!! (Been to Martinsville, Dover, Richmond) Stop complaining and fill the stands so it looks good! GO #14!!!!!

  • NASCAR sucks ass!!! I loved it for years but I cant stand to watch the shit anymoreBy far the worst form of racing on.

  • Ryan Newman seems to almost die a lot on superspeedways...

  • @LOLXMRADIO LOL I noticed that too. Wait its not funny to laugh at this!!!

  • McMurray got a massive shove in the middle coming out of turn four. Harvick moved down a little to try to block. In seeing this, McMurray cut low to avoid Harvick's block, and in doing so, made contact with Dale Jr. It's a racing incident, so stop bitching about it, Jr. fans!

  • @osubuckeyes14 OSU SUX ASS and so does NASCAR

  • Logano is good but the Ragan beats...

  • am i the only one that noticed that newman almost died if that yellow car hit him..game over

  • best part about the race...

EARNHARDT: "What the hell were you doing?"

    JOHNSON: "Just being a dick."

    EARNHARDT: "Hehehe"

  • thumbs up if you think it was crazy how jeff gordon got 6th

  • @Meds9624 remember he was like 12 seconds bac kuntil about 5 laps to go, turned it on, got to within a second or two, and then the GWCs. Crazy but that's how he won at Talledega in 2007 too.

  • @Meds9624 Kyle Busch too. He finished 5th after being involved in the same crash. 3rd 5th and 6th were involved in the crash before the last caution.

  • @Meds9624 That's why he's a Legend!

  • I was impressed by the go or go home teams,i thought earhardt was gonna have it coming too the line on the last green white checkered

  • 1 +1 Kevin Harvick 586 Leader 17 0 3 6 10 3,302,280

    2 -1 Carl Edwards 581 -5 17 2 1 9 12 5,167,630

    10 -- Ryan Newman 498 -88 17 0 0 4 7 2,621,460

  • nascar from about 08 and back was the good times. i miss 3 wide racing 10 rows back throughout the race.

  • Astronaut, Fighter Pilot and race car driver...imho the 3 most epic jobs...but at least you usually walk away from a wrecked race car...

  • Only 8 cars made it to the finish line without crashing.

  • @KINGCOOL420 just like last year pretty much haha

  • @KINGCOOL420 Vintage Daytona

  • @MJkid24

Its not fun to watch a race for 3 hours with no excitement. Running in 30 car packs is exciting. Two car tandems are horrible, enough said.

  • The caution came out to end the race when Ragan was out of turn 4. Stop the film at 1:55, right before he passes the TNT logo in the grass, you'll see it.

  • I was at this race it was hard to tell what happened at the track but I was there I have my own live vids I recorded but there not up yet will post later or tomarrow.

  • I'm so happy that David Ragan got much needed redemption and his first win. But upset because my entire roster for the NASCAR Fantasy game was wiped out in the Big One on the first GWC attempt.

  • @PchanStitch

Exactly, don't reply to my response.

To you're other comment about the 2 car draft. It is boring. I would rather have 10 lead changes and 30 cars running in one pack then 50 lead changes and 2 cars running together.

  • @IrideAHonda250 Well, it's not boring to me. :p And considering this is apparently how it'll be done for the forseeable future, I'm happier than a pig in mud.

  • @IrideAHonda250 And as to your other comment...mean the one that was flagged as spam by the community? I think that says more than I would be able to voice.

  • I do have an idea to make this new type of racing a bit more fair for the partners. The pusher must do a lot of the work to end up 2nd. Now this sound kind of dumb, but maybe the two cars drafting together could both take the win. It would be fair for both drivers. Some people might think this idea is stupid, but at least I'm trying to make the racing a bit better instead of just complaining about how much you want side by side racing back, and give Brian a break. He's trying to do new stuff.

  • i was glad ragan won and im still surpris gordon after a late spon after 2 wrecks happened he went from i think 15 to i believe 6 in one lap i was just shocked but i was hoping mark could of won the race but after he wrecked i was just wondering whats going to happen next and my mom was wondering why the back was si wmpty i told her since dale paced away the seats at the back started to empty out and not the first race of the seadon here dont know why it was becasue of the 10 year that i knew of

  • I don't see why people keep calling the two car draft boring. 40+ lead changes, 20+ seperate leaders, racing in a manner which the smallest misjudgement could bring disaster... I was on the edge of my seat from flag to flag....back when one or two people dominated the whole race was much more boring!

  • @PchanStitch, Because the winner does absolutely nothing to win. All he does is let the pusher do all the work. Look up some finishes from old restrictor plate races, most recently the 2010 Daytona 500.

  • @coltcub64 Nothing? He has to be the eyes of the person behind him, and take care of that guy. The guy behind him can't see a single thing, and if the guy in front isn't trust worthy and dependable, if he isn't careful, he could end up wrecking -both- of them.

  • @PchanStitch, That proves my point. That's not driving. Since when in the history of racing has it been one driver's job to spot for someone else? That's why there are spotters. The only reason there are so many lead changes is because pairs go up then they fall back. Then they go back to the front. You know what you are gonna get. Predictability is boring.

  • @coltcub64 So, you knew you were gonna get Trevor Bayne back in the Daytona 500?

  • Comment removed

  • Newman had a goodlooking racecar not to mention super fast, what a waste...

  • fuck the 2 car tandem bullshit

  • @ThizzinChampX24 Umadbro?

  • @ThizzinChampX24 go head you would like tht the two car draft is fun as hell to watch i dont watch it for the wrecks i watch it for the exciting finishes and thts wat happened at talledega and daytona

  • 1:18 notice edwards gets out of the way and drives on the apron

  • This two car draft has turned Daytona and Dega into nothing but a last 10 lap shootout that is exciting..bring back the old draft

  • quality is pretty good .. thanks for posting

  • Gordon crashes and manages a sixth place finish. IT was good luck that he wrecked first; otherwise he would be in the big one.

  • Fucking people were still going full throttle and almost aiming at Newman's car stopped in the grass. That was ridiculous.

  • It's kinda cute that they call that racing.

  • i thought newman or hamlin had it in the bag until the last cautions

  • Guys stop complaining about the 2 car draft. I would prefer this over the 2009 Dega Fall race. Would you rather have exicting finishes, or just pure boringness?

  • @NASCARDesigns It's different. These fans don't want that. They want NASCAR to be exactly the same as it was since it first started. They don't want anything new or it's not good to them because they don't want different. I admit the middle of the race was a little boring, but I kind of think restrictor plate racing in the middle is a little boring period because most of the drivers are just trying to stay in the back and plate racing doesn't get intense until 15 laps to go.

  • Watch the 83 car in two of these wrecks in this race. Love the winners sponsors!

  • i don't care what people say, the two car draft is still pathetic

  • @MrHartfordHockey i agree with you i freaking hate the 2 car draft bring back the old way of drafting

  • This was a hell of a race! The 2 car draft is getting better every restrictor plate race. I was just disappointed that some drivers who ran up front at some point didn't get the finish they deserved.

  • In my opinion, the two car draft's gonna be here to stay. Changes to the car won't do too much. It's something the drivers have learned about drafting more then it being a problem with the cars. Until Daytona and Talladega age a bit more and lose their smoothness this will be the norm.

  • Comment removed

  • NASCAR needs to get rid of the aero package for the superspeedways, reduce the downforce, open up the restrictor plates, so drivers have to lift the throttle in the corners. Take some of the handling away, give them more power and you'll have daytona and dega racing like it used to be.

  • 2 Car draft needs to end in 2011 and I want to see pack racing again?

  • glad this was the last lap cause tony woulda been DONE!

  • Jr could of had a decent finish maybe even a win if he dragged his brake a little more so Jeff Burton could stay in his bumper. Nice try jr, let's go to Kentucky and kick some ass! Gooooooo jr 88

  • Thanks a lot Jimmie Johnson for bailing on your teammate late in the race...at least Mark Martin had the class to admit when he made a mistake. He didn't make excuses on Twitter or go off on an entire fanbase. I never bought into the 'he owes JR' talk but I thought you were better than this.

  • @MikeSluggo Jr could have hook up with someone else than johnson. jimmie did not bail. I bet you are a 88 fan.

  • @Moneyb55 The 48 team was trying to win the race...to do that they had to get away from JR. That was the ONLY reason for them to pit. The 48 team WILL NEVER help another car win a race. Not even a teammate. It's not in their DNA. You don't win 5 championships in a row by being nice or fair. You bend the rules when you can and you do whatever it takes to win. I don't have a problem with that but don't give us the babe in the woods routine and tweet insults when people call you out.

  • @MikeSluggo So when nascar goes to Talledega , Jr needs to pick someone else like Steward.

  • @hookee Agree he had no right to turn around Ambrose on the last lap.

  • stupid landon cassil just goes straight up ambroses ass. cant drive for shit!!

  • I've always hated this 2 car draft shit. It's not racing. I know the new fans love it so what NASCAR should do is try to please both. Make the daytona 500 and one of the dega races so that u can't push lap after lap, and make the other 2 plate races push races. I didn't even watch tonight, I just watched this to see what happened to Newman..And these used to be my fav races

  • Thumbs up if you were hoping Mark Martin was going to win.

  • @xxxhoover75xxx

A great finish? Were you watching the same race as me??? A great finish is a finish like Talledega. This was just a crash fest. I love the 30 car packs. Doesn't get any better then 30 cars within 2 seconds of eachother.

  • Comment removed

  • @88fanforlife

God, I was so pissed. Why the fuck did they wait so long????? They waited til the very end. And yeah, if Jr would have dragged the break he might have had a shot at it. Kudos to David Ragan but honestly, Ragan fans, don't expect too much of this. It is Daytona and anyone can win. The real tracks that showcase talent are the short tracks and mile and a halfs.

  • @IrideAHonda250 So, should that say something about Dale Jr given that most his wins come on tracks where 'anyone can win' and 'don't expect too much out of those wins'?

  • Two car draft=needs to gone. As I agreed, it's not exciting no more, bring old skool type drafting.

  • jr screwed up by not trail braking back to burton, and im sorry but i lost respect for johnson

  • Me being a life long Jr fan. I don't understand how some of his fans are so self centered. They'll throw anyone under the bus. first it was mark martin. today JJ, burton, mcmuarry it's their fault JR didn't win or finish well. The 88 and 48 strategy didn't work today. stop make excuses. I guess its because im not a stupid redneck Jr fan, but a Jr fan from Chicago that has common sense.

  • @Lights0ut1109 I kind of like how JJ called them out in his tweet, calling them crazy and thanking the 'sane' part of Jr nation. Then again, think of Kyle Busch. Yeah, he has an attitude (not unlike Darrel Waltrip and Dale Sr back in the day), but all the boos, all the hatred really started up when he and Jr were pushing each other and it resulted in Jr spinning. Even Harvick for passing Jr this season, even though he's in Dale Sr's car...

  • @PchanStitch yea man i agree. j.j said those boo's were turning into cheers lately. but after today and those tweets jr nation isn't to happy. me personally i dont give a f**k! its a product of this new racing. until they change it look for them to hook up at dega later this year.

  • @Lights0ut1109 YES! Thank you! Finally somebody who agrees with me! I was watching the chat rooms after the race and I couldn't believe how many one-minded Dale Junior fans there are! I tried saying to a guy "Stop making excuses- the strategy didn't work" but he ignored me. At least you have the guts to admit when your driver does wrong.

  • @Wimmer33fan1 Yes lmao. I saw some pretty ridiculous posts also. Ex. It was Logano's for getting in the way of Jr and Burton. Another Ex. Burton let off the gas so they couldn't get hooked up. Jeff Gordon is a traitor because he pushed Kyle Busch on the white flag lap instead of going with JR. Just because Jr pushed JJ to the win at dega, JJ owes Jr and win. If only most of Jr nation would notice making excuses only proves failure. Don't make any and just accept the outcome of the race.

  • @Lights0ut1109 We didn't throw Mark Martin under the bus...at least he had the class to admit he made a mistake. Jimmie Johnson is the one texting insults and making excuses on Twitter so maybe you're not as smart as you think you are?

  • @MikeSluggo I'm over this race and moved on. Maybe this style of racing will be gone by dega. A lot of drivers and mostly fans don't like it. Even JJ and JR hate this kind of racing. And you and a lot of others didn't throw martin under the bus, but i've seen a lot of people that did on JR's facebook page and different forums. Johnson's tweets are not insulting, he's defending himself. He was told to pit. he had a tire issue. don't attack him over a tweet, but its over on to Kentucky

  • @Lights0ut1109 I would really like to believe Johnson (a teammate no less) had some kind of problem and that this wasn't a total screw job but his attitude and negative comments after the race seem to suggest otherwise. If there was any proof the 48 had a legitimate tire issue I think we would've seen it by now. I know a lot of people would like to see it and until we do my opinion will not change. The two-car draft is probably not going away anytime soon unfortunately.

  • @Lights0ut1109 Its sad how some Jr. fans like that give Jr. a bad name. Guess they really misconceive that

  • @MortifiedPenguin275 Its tough watching him struggle. He's not the same or the competition is just a lot better. A lot can happen to a driver from 2004 to present. Maybe his best days are done, but we'll continue cheer him on..

  • Amazing final few laps I'll say.. Congrats to David Ragan for his 1st win. Congratulations to Jeff Gordon to spinning not collecting nobody else and finishing 6th lol.

  • I find it funny, after Talledega when Jr almost won, everyone praised the two car draft. Now when he comes in 19th, the same people are going "This sucks, gotta go." Some of them even said it has to go because Jr lost the advantage he had.

  • Comment removed

  • This two car draft has got to go. Not exciting anymore.

  • shitty finish to a shitty race....2 car draft is ridiculous...

  • Congrats to Ragan. Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch crashed towards the end and were 5th and 6th. Amazing.

  • montoya llevo su amuleto en este circuito porque dos veces se salvo de ser chocado y a la tercera lo daña el mismo mc murray pero igual llego de 9 igual un excelente trabajo en equipo tenian carro para ganar pero esta pista es muy cerrada

  • Bastard comentators were like "crashes make for an exciting finish". Bullshit they do. I'm damn tired of seeing last lap crashes...

  • i had a dream about the interviews of this race and in my dream joey logano won

  • McMurry can't drive...

  • Sure was a awesome finish! ...

But Cassill had no right to turn Marcos Ambrose around on the final lap. That sucked!!! The #51 Can't drive!!! :@!

  • I'm happy Ragan won, but the race just overall made me mad. I almost fell asleep mid way through the race, my favorite drivers wrecking, everybody wrecked at the end. How predictable. I did like how they had limited commercials though.

The Nationwide race last night sort of made me like the two car draft a little bit, but tonight just dive bombed to me hating it again. And don't get me started on Adam Alexander...

Sorry. Just venting a little frustration is all.

  • @Monkeyball480 I can only say that races like this make NASCAR look like WWE. With Restrictor Plate events You'll love some you'll hate some :3

  • @Monkeyball480 Hey I'll will get it started for you. Adam Alexander has got to go. He is not not a play by play announcer but a solid pit reporter at best.

  • @funboy8 Yeah he's like Dave Burns and Jerry Punch. I don't HATE them, but they just seem to fit better as pit reporters instead of actual commentators.

  • @Monkeyball480 I wreather they run like that at Daytona then at Talladega.

  • @jrfan07 it's cool I hate this racing too

  • Kudos to Kurt Busch and a few others for their safe driving coming down to the line aswell...

  • @jrfan07 that's class what if roush didn't win by that move your talking about stupid...

  • @roushfenway1fan take it easy bro, i was just venting.

  • @jrfan07 Lmao love the sarcasm. I noticed Kurt didn't even slow down and almost hit Newman. How reckless.

  • Cant control your destiny at all... Even for Daytona. Worse than its ever been

  • About time he won

  • Obviously newman was lucky....

  • Awesome move by Kenseth at the line to try and beat Ragan...

  • @jrfan07 You said it, how could he just be ok with following Ragan to the checkers?

  • @jrfan07 Three reasons why he didn't:

1: Logano and Kahne would have had a ton of momentum and would have blown right by.

2: He is trying to help his teammate get in the chase. Kenseth already has 2 wins and is 5th in points. With this win, Ragan gets the 2nd wild card spot, earning him a spot in the chase.

3: He was watching all the awesome wrecks behind him.

  • @jrfan07 the caution was out before they crossed the finish line so he couldn't have passed him anyway.....

  • @gotribe1997 I didn't see that until long after I posted that comment, lonnggg after I posted it lol. I was surprised when I seen my comment manage to get a +20 rating, obviously I wasn't the only one with sarcastic thoughts on their mind when I posted that tehe :)

  • @gotribe1997 the caution never flew until after they crossed the line

  • @MJkid24 They've been doing that when's it's the last lap.

  • @theMstanglover iknow but tht guys doesnt know

  • @MJkid24 watch it again. the caution lights come on before the leaders get to the finish line, so the field was frozen

  • @gotribe1997 the lights went off but they raced to the line so matt could have made a move

  • @MJkid24 he could have made a move but it would have been disallowed. the field freezes when the lights come on

  • @jrfan07 Are you being sarcastic?

  • @funboy8 yes i was lol

  • At first I hated this two car draft. But after watching tonight, I can handle it. It was a great finish and had some great racing. This is why I only watch Talladega and Daytona.

  • stupid kurt busch, could of been a bad accident if he hit newman when caution was out. it looked like he didn't even attempt to slow down

  • @Lights0ut1109 it was the last lap every position counts

  • @Lights0ut1109 i disagree. look @ 2:04. the yellow lights are flashing. it would be pointless to keep driving without letting off throttle because the field is frozen. just dangerous
