The first time I heard this I was listening to Jimmy Buffett's radio station. My dad and I were driving home from somewhere I don't even remember. We were just driving home and it was really dark. It started playing and I automatically registered this was The Beatles. I looked at the song title until the song ended. Now I can never stop listening to it. If I can't go to sleep, I sing it to myself. If I'm sad, I sing it to myself. I love this song and I love Paul. The day he dies will be very sad

@beckslove33 I was 14 when the radio stations started playing Beatles songs. I was 18, I think, when this song came out. The whole album had the same effect on me. I played it until I wore the vinyl out and walked around singing the songs continually. I just had the honor of playing and singing this song at my best friend's son's wedding last year. Timeless

Donovan, also british singer, was with the Beatles in 1968 in India. He,s the one who taught Lennon (song "Julia") and MAC ("I will") to play guitar (picking) lke you can hear on these 2 beautiful songs. I also believe that Donovan contributed for Yellow submarine. FYI.
