Ok ok, Let me explain this to you. Mothman, Lochness, Bigfoot, UFO's, Ghost's. are fake. Its fun to beileve in these stories and myths but once someone grows up its quite obvious.....its not real. as for the red eyes. well what about those wonderfull "red eyes" in photoes. my understanding is its the blood vessles in the eyes that reflect from strong light. owls are apparently simmiler in that regaurd, but with their huge (in comparison to rest of bird) eyes it dosn't take as strong a light. i have seen "red eyed" normal hours if they catch light just right for my angle. think much bigger creature = bigger eyes. prob needing even less light for this effect to take place.

owl, bat humans? don't think so but who knows. on the other hand i can see where the thought comes from. if you watch an owl take off from the ground you may notice something, first they seem to almost stand up staight (ok close to staight), then unfurl their wings and spring up, so i can see how that could turn into a man, even some of the pics shown reminded me of the way an owl takes off.

huge owls and bats interesting. well i do know that huge owls exist in southern ontario. back in the 80's my father was driveing about an hour north of toronto at somewhere arround 4 in the morning on the way to work. as he was cruising along a huge bat with a bigger wingspan than the stationwagon, popped up in the middle of the road where it may have been feeding. well he got it we had feathers in the vents for awile :). i do rather wish he stopped and grabbed it tho.
