@flowerdrop1, I haven't tried a Suhr but from what I've read they are a fine instrument. The Tom Anderson has the fastest neck of any guitar I've ever played. They are an incredibly well made instrument - I highly recommend one.
Holy Shitttttt! Say man, can you repost and slow down the tap runs you were doing? It would be a great tutorial for the rest of us!!!! Love your playin', please post more!
I just bought a hollow Cobra and a solid body cobra. Thes guitars are a step above all others. The tone is insane. I have a bid on a drop top KOA top as well. CAN'T WAIT!
just bought a hollow t and it is by far the best guitar I've ever owned. Very smooth necks and looks killer. The tone is awesome as well, and man you shredded the shit out of it hahaha very clean and outstanding playing.
In this vid I was using a little Fender practise amp on lead channel. My main rig back then was a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 100 watt head to a Marshall quad box loaded with Celestion G1275's.
These days I'm using a Marshall Vintage Modern combo 2x12.
Mesa make great amps there is no doubt... and I'm really favouring 50 watt amps these days because they can be driven harder getting power tube 'tone' happening.
I've owned a Studio 22 in the past with same power tubes as the Express 550 - EL84s - and it was great.
Dude. can i ask of you a huge favor, Can you tutour me? i'm a fast learner, and your skills are amazing, i want to be able to shred like you. I need to learn more shapes, good finger excersises. ANd all around diversity in my technique. Just msg me back, or comment me. If you want to or not ( if so, i can imagine we would chat via msn ) your an inspiration. thanks. bye
About the tapping section: think of your tapping finger as an extra finger you have on your fretting hand... use your tapping finger like an extra finger stretching to a higher note in the scale... it will only ever be a whole tone or half tone away from the last note fretted... does that make sense?
Also: when i tap i also pull off at the same time... so its not tap, tap, tap... it's tap, pull-off, tap, pull-off, tap pull-off.
you are a really good musician man, congratulations! you use the scales very fucking good!! really you are amazing!! check out my vids man i have been playing for 1 year and 9 months i hope you like it!
