Kitten Care : Introducing Kittens to New Things

Hello I have two kittens that have not been introduced fully together yet, they have both had their vaccinations now so it's safe to introduce then together. When I did this they dived straight at each other and started to bite and tap each other, one kitten is slightly larger than the other so I'm afraid she might get hurt is this normal for them to do? i really want a kitten but i have a really big family with 2 brothers and 3 sisters that are quite young and my mum says that the children are a big responsibility and if we had a kitten it would be more responsibility.what should i do to convince her i can take care of the kitten all by myself.plz help :)

@xocoolchickxo What you could start doing is being responsible at home and ask your brothers and sisters to help. If you want even more if you have anyone in your street with a kitten or puppy or any animal ask them and your parents if you could take them for a walk, look after the kitten or cat while they are away at the weekend. It may take some time, but will definately help :)

You don't need damn squeaky toys, just get some newspaper and tie it to a string, dangle in front of kitten, and there you go. Screw squeaky toys

Thank you for the videos and care tips. I have been caring for a litter of three whose mother was hit by a car, and these have helped me a lot as a care guide. The smallest, Tifa, the vet actually wanted to put down because she was so impacted and dehydrated, but I called in a sick day and spent several hours getting her to finally pass everything. After a few feedings with an eyedropper she was able to move on to a bottle, and is now the most active (and loud) of the three heheh.

well, when I named my cat, I just made random nonsense noises at her until she responded to one, and then I came up with a name based on that. The name turned out to be 'obi', btw.
