I think you have missed the point of the title Non-Stamp Collector. It isn't a question of rejecting one or all hobbies but rather the fact that everyone is born a non stamp collector by default. This is analogous to 'weak' agnostic atheism which is a default position brought about by lack of acceptable evidence for any god.

Atheism is not a world view. It is only a component. Yes, most Atheists tend to believe in evolution, secularism, and other ideas. However, Atheism simply describes one thing: a lack of a belief in any deity.

Atheists tend to not have the hierarchal, authority based world view that religious theists have. Atheists tend to from their beliefs from logical methodologies, and observation rather than having them implanted by religious authority. Don't project your cognitive view of the world on us.
