  • Please, can somebody share a download link?

    megaupload don't work.

  • Megaupload is down, can you re-upload that version of MeGUI and AviSynth to another source? Thanks...

  • So your rendering in a huge .avi file than uploading that to youtube? I would of thought that youtube would choke on such a huge file size and crash on the upload??

  • EVERONE! THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH VEGAS 11!!!!!!!! IT JUST DOSENT!!!!!!

  • @T3mporaryGold says who?

  • @Mikrouwel well , im pretty sure it dosent if you get it to work on 11 tell me

  • @T3mporaryGold I did get it to work, just select uncompressed in the codec option :-D

  • Do you need to convert the video to uncompressed?

  • Whos does encoding does?

  • @SleetCheats Don't update MeGUI.

  • lol, your name is peckerwood

  • Hi there, I need a help. I'm new on videos. I have a Sony HDR cx155e camera. I did some recs and uploaded straight ( no edit ) here in you tube. If you select the 1080hd res, my videos have strange reactions.

    I recorded them at 1920 x 1080 hd fx 50i 25 fps setting/the best for my camera.

Watch for example my : Worn Out clips.

What have I to do to solve this problem?

I live in Europe, so Pal format.

    Thanx

  • my videos lagg why?

  • okay i did everything and the video came out as

    Video.264 what do i do?

  • @DeepInBacking1 Get VirtualDub" and combine the 3 files and then render as .avi uncompressed.

  • @DeepInBacking1 You need to combine those 3 parts in Sony Vegas.

  • Help me out. I don't understand why you would want to separately render audio and video. Just for best quality or for faster rendering? and one more question if you see this, I rendered my 2:22minute video in 1080p HD YUV and it would play in WMV with lots of studders and crap. Then I tried uploading it to youtube and it stayed at 0% uploaded forever. Can you help?

  • 13.9 GB HOLY SHIT

  • I did everything in this video. And started rendering my video.

Almost done and it stays at 98%. Could you please help me?

  • i got the problem that is says 'Unable to Render the File. You Probably Dont Have the Correct Filters Installed' what can i do?

  • @motd567 i have the same problem!! did you solve it?

  • @sn0wzor might be ffdshow or either avisynth.. nope havent solved it..

  • @motd567 You need to install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack from CodecGuide(dot)com and install the 64bit version if you have a 64bit OS.

That's the only thing that can solve it. Or, you could try the latest version and see if that works.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz BIG THX GONNA TRY ! :)

  • 1minute video is 53 mb

  • umm when I hit start the thing comes up then closes and nothing after that

  • Hey! I can't thank you enough for this and all your other tutorials! They're truly huge help :)

  • around 2:49, when you choose the video input in AVS script creator, do you need to use "resize" when both input and output videos are the same size? and do you need to change Input DAR?

  • @Salchichaky You don't need to select the "resize", unless you want to change it.

  • My screen is 1680x1050, so the best hd i can get is 720p one?

  • @pspmatax Yep.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz Thanks

  • hey when i import in the script panel it says

    Aviscript error

script error:there is no function named "DirectShowSource"

    plzzzz help

  • @Hamza1dbz You have a codec problem.

You need to install "K-Lite Mega Codec Pack" and the 64bit version if you have a 64bit windows. You can get it from CodecGuide(.)com you need to restart PC when you install them.

Message me if you get problems.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz gr8 it worked ...thanks

  • wow thanks alot man

  • better quality but its really laggy how do i get rid of that?

  • @IamSpykiller19 Your computer is slow that's why it's laggy.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz but my computer isnt slow its pretty fast actually but ill try again

  • @IamSpykiller19 It's slow if it lags. I got Quad Core CPU and 4GB Ram 2000mhz. So it's impossible to lag for me.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz SAME. But with 6gb

  • what did you do to the video on the timeline at the start

  • thanks it works great (I downloaded from your links), but the mkv mixer doesn´t work. it says that the job is complete, but i don´t see any file in my folders. The mp4 mixer works great, do you have a advice for me so i can solve this problem

  • @dekkuhr You don't need mkv. Both MP4 and MKV produce same quality.

Maybe you need a codec for it to work. Read my comment below how to get the codec pack.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz one question does it take your videos 115 mins to upload after you have rendered or am i doing something wrong or maybe its the video format i uploaded a video thats about 5 mins long and it takes 115 mins to process

  • @aubney1 I have fast upload speed and I upload tutorials so they take like 30 seconds to process.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz thanks for replyin whats the first link gui or somethin and please tell me how i can upoad hd vids in 30 seconds

  • @aubney1 Follow this tutorial.

  • @aubney1 thanks man

  • For some reason the audio gets an error when im trying to start it in worker 1. :/

  • @daekol I think you have a codec problem, try this.

Install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and the 64bit version if you have a 64bit OS.

If this doesn't work, message me.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz Thanks! :) It worked, but i didnt like the file size. I tested a clip that was 12 seconds and the filesize was 12 mb. So if the clip was 10 minutes it would have been 600mb. :P Gonna try with different bitrates and see if i can get it a little smaller. :D

  • I'm no pro at video editing. I rendered my clip exactly like you showed and no player will open it. VLC does not support the audio or video format "SFDB". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.

  • @ProjectSunderGaming You need to install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and the 64bit version if you have a 64bit OS.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz I have it, both 32 and 64 versions installed. I think it's something up with my Sony Vegas and not the player. Any chance you can PM me the version you used? Or do you have Steam/AIM?

  • @ProjectSunderGaming I'll message you and help you out.

  • Will this make a big difference in the video quality?

  • @JordyBT You should try first before you ask.

  • You should check out Playclaw, it's an alternative to Fraps and it uses less resources when it is recording. I find it awesome.

  • I haven't tried Vegas 10 yet...still using Vegas 8. Do you see any difference in the quality of the pictures they render? What else is different between the two versions?

  • @FireThunderTV It has new and improved feature. Now it can use CPU or GPU to render, I prefer CPU because its faster. And it has a lot of new presets that are good for YouTube.

  • DirtyCodingHabitz: Okay thanks.

  • You make some awesome tutorials! 10/5

  • 10x!

  • can u tell me what is the name of your watermark font ? :P 10x it works perfect quality ^_^

  • @NikolayBG2 It's called "Infected".

  • I've been using this method great all morning. I'm now trying to render my last video for the day, but I'm getting an error message in MeGUI. "Requested URL is not valid or cannot be found" Yet when I look in the folder, the specific file is sitting there with the correct name. Any help would be stellar.

  • @megalo What are you trying to do? I've never seen this error before.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz I'm trying to encode Part 1 of my collection walkthrough for Fear 2. I have all the other parts uploaded to youtube already. I've followed this tutuorial to the letter on 6 other videos. I don't know why it wouldn't agree with this one.

  • @megalo Message me your msn, yahoo or skype. I'll help you out.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz I'm sorry, but could we continue this later, I have some errands I need to do?

  • @megalo Whenever you want, I'll help you out :).

  • I followed all of the instructions exactly, but when I try to import my uncompressed avi file into megui, an error box pops up saying: "Unable to render the file. You probably don't have the correct filters installed." Any ideas?

  • @Shaitan808 You need to install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, and if you have 64bit OS you need to install the 64bit version of K-Lite as well.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz I did that. Still getting the same error.

  • @Shaitan808 It happened to a couple people. Message me and give e your msn or skype so I can help you out.

  • @Shaitan808 hehe i fixed the error before, its probably your audio settings, check with them in your properties.

  • How big was this file when you uploaded it?

  • @LoneWolfSpike Take a look at 4:58. And those videos were just for testing.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz How big was 'this' file though?

  • Hey guys, make sure that before you render in uncompressed avi, make sure that in your settings, you guys check "Render alpha channel (uncompressed video formats only). It unchecks itself after you untick the audio part in the settings so it's very important! :)

  • How do I make my .mkv files work on Sony vegas 10 pro? I have downloaded mkvmergeGUI but I only used that to remove the subtitles. Also if I used a converter,to convert it into .mp4 there might be a risk of quality loss and I need to retain the high quality. This file is H264 which is unreadable on Sony Vegas,so if I have to convert what should I use and how?

  • @blueyedblonde482 Get Total Video Converter and convert your .mkv file as Xvid-HD and select 10080p as preset and in the settings make sure you put the same fps and tick Original resolution.

After its converted you can add it in Sony Vegas Pro 10 :).

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz Hmm.This video is an anime though. Will that stretch the frame size? because its originally set at 640x408.I'll definitely try that converter though, thank you.

  • @blueyedblonde482 It won't stretch anything if you tick Original resolution and you have to add same fps as your anime video. I'm pretty sure its 23.976 if its anime.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz Awesome, yeah your right the frame rate's usually around 23 for anime.

  • This is a nightmare, I've been messing around with settings for over a year now for Halo gaming videos but I've never got anyone to answer this question:

    - Will adding much more bit rate for 720p video eventually decrease quality?

    Please get back to me.

  • @Nitrozity The quality will not decrease if you make the bitrate higher. Who ever told you that is an idiot.

Just follow my tutorial and you will have wonderful gaming quality :).

  • do you have to use sony vegas 10? I got sony vegas 8

  • @XheltfobX You can install Sony Vegas Pro 10 without uninstalling 8.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz nvm, I used x264 using sony vegas 8, the quality turned out pretty good

  • Nice tutorial. The only problem is the anime preset still takes a long time to encode. >.<

  • @DarkFuture69 Yes, the anime profile takes longer but it improves the quality for anime :).

    You'll need a faster CPU.

  • you should get a mic things well be a lot easier !!!!!!!!

  • What if my video is aready in avi from using fraps? Must I still render it before encoding the video to get 1080p settings?

  • Sorry for flooding comments, I got another question, lol. What if I used Sony Vegas to render one of my videos in mpeg2, THEN, I encode it after using the programs you provided. How will the quality look? Messed up? I'm making gaming vids and comparing formats. And mpeg-2 looks nice. Just curious.

  • And will there be a difference if I used Vegas pro 10 and Vegas movie studio platinum? Because I have the platinum one instead of pro.

  • And is this the best H.264 today? Will this look good for gaming videos/walkthroughs?

  • 2 questions. You go to render as, but what about project properties? I dont see nothing in this video about its settings for sony vegas. If I want to render in 1080p hd, do I put it in 1080 60i?

  • @AnimeSage285 Next time if you have that any questions please message me.

    1. Check my rendering video for my project settings.

    2. The Insane profile is for gaming and everything else, except for anime.

    3. You need Sony Vegas Pro 10.

    4. Follow my tutorial and render as uncompressed AVI.

    5. You can add your Fraps video in MeGUI to encode. You just have to add it in Sony Vegas to render the audio.

    Hope that helps :).

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz So let me get this straight. As soon as I add my avi video with sound to Sony vegas pro 10, when I hit render as, I use same settings in your rendering video. But In custom, I untick the video box, and leave the audio one ticked? After that, I take take the video portion that wasn't rendered with with sony vegas, and add the sound that was rendered in MeGUI to encode? If this is so, I still don't understand how to make it 1080p.

  • @AnimeSage285 You render the audio as Wav. Didn't you watch the entire video?

After that just add the video in MeGUI - AVS Script Creator and make the resolution 1920x1080 and save.

    Just follow the tutorial.

  • and what is megui used for??

  • @nilosh2008 Watch the video before you comment. MeGUI encodes videos. If you want your file to be smaller you need to make the bitrate smaller.

Turn your Annotations on so you can read what I wrote on the video.

  • thanx for the great tut but does this make the filesize smaller???

  • good good video

  • Can you make a video about how to put music and tekst in the video.. cause im going to make a video with just pictures and music.

  • @TheLindaPham Um.... its not hard to add music in Sony Vegas..... and just use the text effects.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz ok, i found how add music.. but where is the text effects?

  • @TheLindaPham Go to Media Generators - Text.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz Thank you :D

  • @TheLindaPham No problem :).

  • NICE TUTORIAL BRO!!!! I LIKE IT (Y)

  • I have a cheaper consumer version of Sony Vegas and it is always crashing. I do not like crashing. Anyway, do you know where I can get a free trial for Sony Vegas 10?

  • @megalo The download links are in the description.

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz

Thanks a bunch, my videos look amazing and they're such a small filesize too.

  • @megalo No problem :).

  • Best Sony Vegas 10 tutorial video ever.Period.

  • @KFCStudiosTV Thanks :).

  • Btw DirtyCodingHabitz, there are working keygens out already actually...

  • @DarkFuture69 I'm waiting for ChattChitto to make a legit keygen.

  • nice hit even wat other wallpapers du ya have

  • thank you so much ^_^, and btw, what canvas size do you use for Vegas?

  • @SIMul8rReviews You can check my Sony Vegas (Project Properties) on my rendering tutorial, its the 3rd latest one.

  • <3 u buddy.

  • Awesome!! :)

  • so...is there a working keygen yet..?

  • @squidskunk I haven't searched for a keygen yet...

  • hey bro, what's the song?

  • @CrypticCinematics It's in the description ;).

  • @DirtyCodingHabitz okay, thanks. :)

  • mad

  • o my ga 13gb!!! which one was better thought Test that was 100mb or the 13gb one?

i dont understand why you pointed at the 13gb

  • @Delicroix797 The 13GB was the uncompressed file, you don't have to worry about that file.

The normal video was 50mb and the encoded 1080p with 16k bitrate was 100mb. If you want your filesize to be smaller, use 8k bitrate.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Second

  • 1st, watching now! :D
