  • Awesome! You must get a very uplifting feeling whenever you channel George like that! Wish I could do it, but I enjoyed listening to you. Nice job.

  • That Rick sounds awesome man! George is being channeled through you!

  • is it a good idea to get a 360/12 rick

  • @KingAdrock23 Yes! Totally!

  • where did you learn how to play that?

  • IM getting the same guitar but in MAPLEGLO

  • hey scugs, how much would i have to pay for this?

  • great job!

  • That's the tone... unmistakeable.

  • wait a minute. george fingerpicked that guitar riff. why are you strumming?

  • @wiisalute Harrison used a pick on this

  • 360 is the deluxe version of a 330 looks prettier costs more sounds the same. Harrison playednan360 not a 330, Of course he got his free!!!

  • in the chorus your doing a C chord and its not suppose to be a C...you have to put one finger on the first fret of the b string to get the right sound

  • price of guitar ?

  • actually this guitar is horrible

    nice cover btw

  • @AmigoFiell you might not like them but that doesn't make them horrible guitars. i personally don't like the way they feel to play that much either, but they are superb quality guitars (especially for the price - they are expensive, but well worth it if that's your sort of thing). you need to learn the difference between a bad guitar and a guitar that you just can't get on with.

  • Cool Ric!

  • i love how he has all the guitars they played.

  • would it be the same notes if u played it on normal guitar ???/ answer plz

  • @olililyall yes, the strings are in pairs on a 12-string, with the E, A, D and G string pairs tuned an octave apart, and the B and high E string pairs tuned the same. you're playing the same notes at the same frets and everything, otherwise, so long as you're in standard tuning :)

  • @Blompcube do you put the thickest string in each pair first or last?

  • @MrAlbinoPanther that's a matter of preference really. rickenbackers generally come with the thickest string first, but most other 12-strings have the thin string first which kind of accentuates the upper octave a bit more with downstrokes. of course, on any 12-string you can swap the order round if you like.

  • way to go, Scugs! finally someone with a good ear.

  • Thanks Scugs, I have got it do now. I have been playing Beatles songs for years now.I have found out that The Beatles by ear that they play about 10 or more songs with a capo. It looks like You have all the Guitars that the Beatles used.Keep up the Great guitar work you put on YouTube.

  • Fantastic job! Thank you for posting and in particular for having the camera capture what your left hand is doing. Now I can finally learn to play this song!!! Cheers to you!

  • nice guitar

  • awesome i didn't know you had to put a capo on the seventh fret

  • @CrankCase08 the lead guitar part on nowhere man was actually done on two fender strats, played by John and George at the same time

  • shiny

  • I'm surprised you haven't done Nowhere Man. I believe that was done on a 12 string Rickenbacker.

  • Yow! You sure have an expensive guitar collection there! No 3/4 scale Rickenbacker 325 though!

  • "Baby youre a rich man!" see wat id did there?

  • EXCELLENT!!

  • I love those Rickenbacker 12 string guitars. I want one just like it.

  • Always wanted this guitar ; gimmie it !!

  • Sorry Scugs, You have it Tune to Open (E) I Think it Just the Rickenbacker Sound and I'm Listening you through Wireless Headphones.I Capo my Les Paul the way you do and it Sound Just like The Beatles. Not Just Like You are The Beatles Because it's a Les Paul, But it Sounds with a Little Effects OK! Thanks again

  • Scugs What do you have you Rick Tuned too 2 Steps down or 2 Steps up. You Have Been Teaching me a lot of Beatles Song's. I Love your Rick 330/12 Like the one George and Pete Townsend Played in the early year's! I had a Rick 360 /12 Same color but I had to Pawn it Back in the 80's. Keep up the Great work. It gets me Going

  • @JLPMGHRS69 Regular tuning.

The capo is placed at the 7th fret.

  • @Scugs Exactly it sounds just right 6 string

  • calabrate your tuner to 438 and it will sound perfect. europes standard is 438. not 440

  • effin perfect!

  • (Speechless)

  • gorgeous rick, great sound. if you take requests, i'd like to see/hear 'please mr. postman', 'paperback writer' and/or 'i feel fine.' nice stuff.

  • man i see tha you have a epiphone can you put it the jangle box compressor and tell me if it sounds like you in the song you cant do that please well chek and after you tell me if it is ok thanks and exelent cover

  • great sound....Ricks are perfect.....do you prefer 360/12 or 330/12 ?

Do you know any differences between those two models?

PS.Your covers are very nice:) I enjoy seing and hearing all those guitars of yours;)

  • I *think* the 360 has a wider neck. I have a 330 (6 string) and a 620/12 both have narrow necks that may take some getting used to.

  • @halberthawkins

    hmm thanks....:)

    and what would you suggest?

  • If you have bigger fingers, the 360 would be more suited. But here is yet another option, if you particularly like that vintage, jangly sound, look into the 660/12 which is a solid body design and it comes with vintage style pickups. Plus it has the widest neck of all.

You most definitely can get a very good sound with the modern high gain pickups like Scugs is using though (obviously) and the 360 is a beautiful and extremely popular model. Don't make me decide! :-P

  • no, my fingers are really thin. And I checked the 660/12 as well, but seems that I can't get the harrison and mcguinn style out of my mind...Anyway, I am not buying a guitar yet but it is definitely going to be a /12 rick;) Thank you so much for replying and giving me your opinion:)

  • @crazynicktaxi The 330/12 is more like George's 390/12 because it has flat top. The 360/12 (Pnowadays) has a curved top (not an arched top, though). George's had a flat top because it was a prototype given to him by rickenbacker.

  • @crazynicktaxi 360's have 3 pups and 330's have 2

  • Nice job.

  • Stunning Guitar
