issyvoo2, I think this was 1979 or 1980. My mom is the lady sitting on the grass behind the table. The part was a rehearsal for their Carnegie Hall Reunion (1980). I was only 9 or 10, but the experience of being there to witness that historical event was something I'll carry with me forever.
Thanks for this glimpse of my favorite folk group for over 40 years. They still know where to put their hearts: with the working men and women of this land.
Thank you for posting this, it is wonderful to see. I never had the chance to see all of the Weavers perform together, but the strength of the words and the strength of the singing is truly wonderful to see.
