  • Hello sir. I just started to learn the violin last month. It's summer break for me and I will be a 2nd year college student this June. I'm afraid I can't practice the violin everyday when classes start. My schedule is really heavy, and I will be staying at a boarding house; I don't think my co-residents and neighbhors will be pleased by my practicing. Are there any exercises that I can do without playing the violin?

  • Tank you. I have a son of 6 years old and plays violin 1 years, and isnt' never happy to play, I tell him that after exercise there is a surprise, a present if he plays every days for all week and I buy that he want ( a little present), but if he dont' plays I oblige to play and dont takes the present. Do I wrong?

He is some happy when we see your video...and after plays...

  • Your tips have completely changed the way we view practice. I have two kids who practice every day. Once that happens, there is no excuse like "I don't feel like playing today, I'll play tomorrow" because today you will play and tomorrow you will also play.

I would like to add to your tips by making the practice be supervised practice.
