I live about three miles from the stone house scene here in Round Valley north of Bishop, CA. Will Penny was also filmed at the ranch which is a working cow outfit since the 1870s.

Karl Malden is my classic bad guy Nevada Smith and One Eyed Jacks he could not have been more rotten to the core.

Malden is superb in this film but One Eyed Jacks is my favorite. His Dad Longly was the most lowdown 2-faced SOB ever put on film....Brando really had his hands full in the acting dept cause Karl gave him a run for his money. Everyone in that film was great though.
