  • Dirty Elegance, you are awesome.

  • Besides those who smere at dream study because they have never looked into the subject there are those who do not dare to face the fact revealed by dream study. Dreams tell us many an unpleasant biological truth about ourselves and only very free minds can thrive on such a diet. Self deception is a plan to reach with as far in the poliosid (Idk the word sorry) atmosphere of dream investigation.

  • @reverse0retention The weakling and the neurotic attachment of neurosis are not anxious to turn such a powerful search light upon the dark corners of their psychology.

I'm not so sure about this part, big words and he says the quickly ._.

  • @reverse0retention all correct except it's "the weakling and the neurotic attached to his neurosis" I think

  • yo did anyone actually listen to what the man says in the beginning? i wish I had those lyrics. heavy stuff

  • so beautiful music...

  • 1000 piano version

  • Final fantasy x-2 rip off

  • @kuj4z - recognised it instantly... so... can they get away with doin that?!

  • @dannyday58218195 either they asked for the rights, or the can get away with it because they are obscure.

  • @kuj4z You know loops/samples for instruments float around the internet like crazy, right? Hell, the genre DnB is comprised of songs using variations of a 6 second drum loop made AGES ago. Knowing square enix, they just used a loop they found fitting, and this artist happened to either find the same loop and make good use of it, or just so happened to make a melody similar to it. So, what does it even matter?

  • @StandardsFtw

Well that maybe true, these guys virtually took the excact song and threw in woman and some simple beats. That's just bad

  • @Case86 lmao. I hope you aren't serious

  • @StandardsFtw

I am. Are you going to lyao or are you going to tell me why i'm wrong?

  • @Case86 Listen to this, and the piano version of 1000 words. If this were a "ripoff" it would actually sound exactly the same. This only sounds similar to the very beginning of the song, yet only similar, not the same. The piano 1000 has a much slower pace, and more keys, making it recognizably different, so this is nowhere near being a "bad ripoff"

  • @StandardsFtw

Ofcourse it's recognizably different. But still, for me atleast, not an original song. Adding some samples and a beat over almost the excact song doesn't cut it for me. I don't mind ripoffs, there are jewels out there, this is not one of them.

  • @Case86 "Over almost the exact song" is where you're going wrong, lol. This song as a whole is nothing like 1000 paino version, and considering this as a ripoff is just plain stupid. Especially if you listen up to where this "kicks in", it sounds nothing alike by then. And you don't like this song, whoopty-do, that's your opinion and i don't really care. You should seriously rethink life for calling this unoriginal, if you ever listen to "dubstep" or "drum and bass", the most unoriginal genres

  • @StandardsFtw

Then we just don't agree. I'm fine with that. And calling two complete genres unoriginal is just as closeminded by the way.

  • @Case86 The two genres in general are very unoriginal, lol. It's not like I don't listen to them. I listen to a lot of both of them, but they are very very very unoriginal, especially DnB. Literally every DnB song uses a 6 second drum loop made in the 40s that has been widely used in various things. To have every single song of a genre repeating a 6 second loop the whole song, is pretty unoriginal, so think before you call me closeminded.

  • @StandardsFtw

How the hell can you hear the difference between a snare/hihat from the 40's and a snare/hihat made yesterday? And how are Noisia, Mutt and Bop alike in any way beside the fact that their music belongs in the DnB genre because of beat patterns?

  • @Case86 Quote me where I said those artists are alike.. You need to up your reading comprehension skills. All I said is that because every single song uses the exact same loop throughout the entire song, they are pretty unoriginal; even if they made the beat themselves, it's just a copy of a loop made over 60 years ago. I mean, I like the music, but when you think about it, having the creative outlet they do, and still basing their whole foundation of music on that loop, is pretty sad actually.

  • @StandardsFtw

Noisia, Mutt and Bop are three Drum 'n Bass artists. They don't use the excact same loop, hear them out. And second, a genre needs a basis to be a genre. It's like saying: "All those death metal bands are so unoriginal, they keep using blastbeats.", or; "Soul always has a walking bass, why can't they be original and do away with that?".

  • @Case86 They do use the same loop, but they just edit it to their whim. My bad on the second part, I could've explained that better. What I mean is that, most of what you hear in a DnB song is just that loop. the average DnB song has the loop playing, and barely any other added beats from the producer, thats what makes the general in general unoriginal. Of course there are some artists that are original, and have actual talent, but those couple people don't make up for everyone else

  • @StandardsFtw

You my friend, have been listening too some b ad DnB :)

I listened to Dirty Elegance a couple of times, i like 'em. Still not feeling this one though.

  • @Case86 Well, that's the thing. With DnB and Dubstep, around 75% of each is pretty horrible, while the rest is damn good.

  • Beautiful tune
