My biggest bass loves the the jumbo sticks but I hate them since they make the tank cloudy putting 2 dozen of the sticks in the tank. I wish they weren't like this but you must go through a lot of those bags with that

@phartattack Tank Nazi Alert lol As long as fish have space to move, the tank will be fine. Go save the fish someplace else. I have a 5 inch oscar in a 10 gallon tank and he's doing wonderful. I'll be moving him to a bigger tank soon but all the bs warnings people gave me were so not true. These monster fish look very happy in that tank.

@phartattack newsflash, when the water conditions are good meaning 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites and 0-20 nitrates and the water is crystal clear it generally means " the fish are living in a happy clean safe environment. In your analogy, you left out the part about the water being maintained and cleaned by filter and bacteria on a daily basis. So imagine being in your bedroom (at a 5 star hotel for 7 days and the maid/s come in everyday to clean and refresh the linen. Sounds like fish heaven to me.

@phartattack Except for the fact that fish don't share the need to explore and go out like humans do. If the conditions are ideal, the fish won't complain and if anything, will feel secure. With no need to migrate to get away from predators or seek food in different places, animals usually stay in the same territory.
