Most people don't realize the duality of this scene. It takes something where most people would feel free to let loose, a masquerade, and choreographs the upper crust to counter pose the lower class workers. It shows that even at their most relaxed, high society people still need to keep themselves in check.

@imacceptingbut A masquerade is somewhere you put on a disguise, you can be anyone or do nearly anything. In the video the opera patrons are all masked but they dance choreographed by the conductor. This keeps them in the rigid state of the dance. Where as the opera house workers, whom are maskless, follow no choreography and just let loose.
