Brad was obviously a good wrestler, not horrible on the stick, but why did he take so long to establish a persona and a good finisher? He was a Captain America type and there were plenty of villains to fight, but he took forever to get a signature move. Later on his gut-wrench was very believable, but it took till 1990 for him to use it as a finisher. He should have been a more articulate version of Bob Backlund.
