I wouldn't exactly call that perfect, you need to get used to the scoring system. :)
You need to use your auto shot to build up orbs around your character, then switch modes, fire the orbs off, turn them into Katanas, throw the katanas at the enemy waves and pick up the gold that results.
Yeah true. But I only just started this game amongst all the other shoot 'em ups I've downloaded. Also this was my second (or so) attempt and I really have no idea about the mechanics of this game as opposed to DeathSmiles, Bullet Soul, TriggerHeart. I should really call this a no-hit run, but I think around the 0:56 I take damage but I believe this game has a life bar.
Thanks for the tips though. Will try to make a much better playthrough later on.

That's not a dumb question. As to my knowledge the game is called "True Red Sword" which would explain the "Blood Sword" at 0:06.
