If you watch the video towards the end you will see several direct hits in slow motion. If it hit bare skin you would get burnt, but not badly. If it hit bare skin and somehow stuck to you, you would get burnt very badly. The worst burn was when a roman candle ball wedged itself between the shoe and sock of someone, who was wearing very loose shoes and shorts. We do wear eye protection, Once again though this is some pretty retarded shit that we do every year.

Yes but only if the roman candle explodes while your holding it. We've been doing this for 10 years, and I have never seen a roman candle explode. Usually what happens is it starts shooting out the back and the front, or the top part blows up because the tube got squished. but never the middle where your holding it. But heh lets face it, its not the smartest thing to do, but you only live once.
