Really none of this mech tech stuff was used in the movies infact alot of transformations that they have for these figures, dont even turn into it in the movie. for example the giant op he didnt even come close to that. Idk im picky about my trans figures i have to have them show accurate which is the reason why i wont get that op.

it's just a gimmick that hasbro thought could rake in more money, since they'd already run out of ideas after the "automorph" and "mech-alive" gimmicks

just make sure you've folded and clipped everything firmly and flush before closing it. something might be blocking it.

Finally bought grampa at sm bacoor toy kingdom for only 2800 by using they're discount booklet promo. Nice video. Poor stupid instruction booklet. :D (still fresh, planning 2 open it when i see it's movie.) :)

Oh and i checked out all of they're Sentinel Primes out there, some are defective. The automatic lights and speech do not function even if u pressed it that hard.

Now that i got him myself i discovered some extra sounds both in robot and vehicle mode. When you put a mechtech weapon into the port he makes different sounds.Like when you put the combination mechtech weapons on him in vehicle mode you didn`t put it in all the way,cause when you do and you push the mechtech weapon to open up it then makes some battle noises,same as in robot mode.

that's awesome man! the 2007 Optimus is easy. it's the 2009 LC O.P. that's a bit of a challenge.

@fxfranz the only problem i have when i had 2007 prime was the waist you really have to rotate it so far and the legs are hard to move i think they're ratchet joints

Great review and transformation as well, that was smart how you tabbed the side panels to the truck before doing the whole arm in leg thing, it holds the arms in place. I had a hell of time with that step because of the "idiot" that did the "instructions" it took forever to transform going off the instructions.The way it "instructed" made it harder than it is, the arms kept coming off the truck because it said to attach the panels after you put the arms in the legs. Anyway Great job man.

yeah, most collectors and parents. find it difficult transforming back to alt mode. alt mode to bot mode is super easy, as what most reviewers do. it's going back to vehicle mode that's quite a challenge.

Nice review but you forgot to show the mechtech activated sounds, both in robot and in vehicle mode. There is a button inside the front right mechtech port that unlocks more sounds when a mechtech weapon is fully pluged in.
