There's 3 new one's in ODST. But. I Don't think Bungie gives you Recon when you complete them. Because, If you've unlocked every Spartan Shoulder, Body, Head Armor. Wouldn't there have to a piece that says Locked. So Bungie might give you a Code or something. Unlock it... But I find that strange. It seems they'll always make it that one bit harder to get Recon.

in my opinion id keep the preorder, if i know anything about the cod series, theres only a little inovation in each game. ODST looks like a brand new concept for bungie and could have some potential. The game actually is supposed to take place in an open world map, for me thats pretty amazing in a halo game. also firefight looks fun, be it gears beat them to the punch. cod really doesnt get me excited anymore, btw still love the series, dont get me wrong

out of all thoughs games id get odst. its pretty cheap and looks ok. assassins creed 2 looks sweet but like the first one it probobly will get boring after you beet it once or twice. as for MW2 looks fun but i wouldnt get it cuz i didnt like MW1 i know thats strange but watever i dont like. overall if i were you id get odst cuz halo 3 was a really addicting game. i played it for 4 years untill i got bored. well its really up to you make the right chose.
