  • "Is he being sexy? Eeesh" lmao

  • I jUST realized he was Bilbo!!!

  • You know the first time I watched Alien I was too young and too Russian to afterwards remember the guy who several years ago became the priest in 5th Element... and then I watched 5th Element and I didn't recognize that guy. And now I'm watching this, and I'm like "Holy crap, that's the priest from 5th element! Memory loss sucks... haha

  • Insure...is not the same meaning as Ensure. I have my doubts about that computer. Its going a bit computer senile.

  • Y'know, I'd like to see an Event Horizon Rifftrax.

  • Wait... Mike didn't riff this one?

  • Okay I watched the whole movie...I'd have to say the funniest thing in this movie is when the alien burst through the chest of the guy on the table and runs across the table one of the guys goes "Oh...it's a Muppet" I was laughing so hard I started crying...the special effects of the alien running across the table looked just like a Muppet.

  • "shes been shoplifting again" would have been a better comment for an Alien Resurection Rifftrax.

  • You WILL tolerate my lactose!

  • ...Say what you like about the alien....it`s got a lovely smile.

  • Shire fighting style. wow. LOL!!!

  • omg I love Rifftrax XD

  • "You WILL tolerate my lactose!"

  • Ripley's just lucky Ash wasn't as indestructable as the Terminator, or she would've really been screwed.

  • ash(the guy in the blue) is a cyborg. it was funny. the take his head off and it is hanging on by some wires and he continues to fight!

  • sooooo funny keep it up

  • Cinematic Titanic

  • This was a great movie, though. A true classic.

  • Sorry to be a grammar nazi, but shouldn't it be "ensure" at 0:06?

  • No it is "Insure". I have the movie so I would now.

    Ur Welcome

  • Oh dear...

One - this is a well known mistake in the movie. It SHOULD be "ensure", but they made a mistake and released the film before anyone noticed.

Two - "know" has a "k" in it.

  • I 4got 2 put the "k" in know.

    I knew that.

    TY

  • Whoops...I didn't know that it was well known. No need to start a flame war

  • I'm not starting any war. Ty again

  • it is supposed to be "Insure" not ensure because it simulates the comprehension that computers have of the English language. i would know, i am a computer programmer and every now and again build computers.

  • @ilikepie118 Yeah, but if one were to channel the making it up as you go along and then claim it was your plan all along spirit of George Lucas, you could say that they had "return organism insurance", so that takes care of that.

  • The bank joke made me roffle, I must admit.

  • "He's bleeding butter-milk"

  • Ohhhh, I dunno if I could watch this, I love the movie just too much

  • Well, I missed Mike, but this was still very, VERY funny. Love it!

  • "Sorry, that was more because of the mobile than you."

  • Ian Holm as Ash: "My Shire-Fu is strong!" Alien was great (scariest movie I've seen), but why do "perfect" replicant androids seem to bleed/sweat spoiled milk?

  • You spoofed Alien.... I wish I could see the whole thing D:! Pfft, I knew Alien was made before the first Predator movie, and I am a whippersnapper!

  • ahhh it's a shaved hobbit!

  • ...and yes, he IS being sexy, very sexy, at about :26...!

  • Ian Holm really nailed this role.

  • "Sorry, that was more about the annoying mobile than you" xD

  • Nothing is sacred to RiffTrax. This was great :)

  • This is the proof (as if there was need for one) that the MST3K/Rifftrack idea works even for great movies! :)

  • @ladyjaye27 Actually, I was just thinking the opposite. This doesn't work for me. No accounting for taste, I guess.

  • @ladyjaye27 Yeah it's totally possible. Me and my friends do it when we're watching movies no matter how good they are. Also horror films are very riffable.

  • "Pipeweed smokin bastard! I hope you choke on your elevenzies!"

  • What does elevenzies mean/refer to?

  • It's referring to the hobbit joke. Hobbits smoke pipeweed and elevensies are one of the various meals they eat throughout the day. It's a pretty obscure reference.

  • 'Parker? Lambert?'

    "other, deader guys?"

  • just bought the rifftrax for the fellowship of the ring last night. absolutely hilarious.

  • Oh, is nothing sacred?!

I remember watching a vid on Youtube where Mike Nelson and Mary-Jo Perhl were being interviewed by a rather hostile host who accused them of 'hurting the genre' by only riffing small, low-budget films on MST3K. The guys said they wanted to riff on the big films, but it would cost to much.

I don't think there is any real malice when the guys riff on classics like this, or even the low-budget crap. Its like when you and your mates wind-up each other.

  • Deh, I dunno. I mean, I know they meant well...Kevin Murphy has made it public that this is one of his favorite movies...maybe they wanted to try a more adventurous direction? I mean, the next movie they do IS Memento, and I'm REALLY looking forward to that one.

Still, this movie...? I dunno. I just don't see it.

  • I thought some of their lines are funny, but I guess I look to them to sorta make funny observations about problems with the film, and look at stuff in a fresh way that I hadn't seen in a while. That and dump on crappy movies, of course. I understand where you're coming from.

  • Whoa, I didn't know they were doing Memento next. That's one of my favorite movies. Course I'm not averse to making fun of movies I like...

  • You mean the 2003 Director's Cut?

  • "Is he being sexy? ugh.." XD

  • Ian Holm, Ian McKellan, and now IanGainsborough?? This video is haunted by freakin' IANS!!!

Boy did I just tell one super lame joke or what?...

  • Oops. Got my Ians confused.

  • Hope u choke on your Elvensies....LOL

  • What's with all the Tolkien references?

  • Ian Holm is in this movie. You know, Gandolf?

  • Actually Ian Holm played Bilbo Baggins. Gandolf was played by Ian Mckellon. Yes I'm very nerdy.

  • Actually, Holm played Bilbo. It was the other Sir Ian, Macallen, who played Gandalf.

  • "He's bleeding buttermilk..."

  • you will tolerate my lactose, lol great stuff
