Beautiful... This was recorded at Lipatti's last recital, shortly before his death. He was in a great deal of pain at the time, yet still manages to convey such music. But check out his studio recording of the piece. For me, the studio version captures even more of it's incredible beauty.

@MusikalischesHaus He sadly died of a type of blood cancer (lymphoma), at the age of 33.

Superb musicianship. Can't be beat. He makes Mozart sound as natural as a tree growing in the forest.
